| Tips for Starting to Multi Table I currently have around 215 dollars at bodog and decided that I want to learn to multitable. I think the most you can do at bodog is 3 tables and I have 2-tabled occasionally in the past, but never frequently. I want to build my BR to around 400-450 so that I can start 2-tabling 25max. I figured this is a good time to try to develop the skill of multi tabling. I think I am going to start out 3-tabling 5.50 10 Player SnG or maybe the 8.80 beginner tournaments. Anyone have any good tips for multi tabling? |

| I don't know about Bodog but Stars and FT have nice set ups for multi-tabling. I just started trying two, then we I got comfortable and had a steady win rate there I added another, then another, and so on. I usually 3 or 4 table. I prefer shorthanded play which makes multi tabling a little tougher. To get used to it you might want to start on full ring. |

| re: Tips for Starting to Multi Table poker Yes i agree, its probably best to start off with full tables to allow yourself more time to think out your decisions without being to rushed. Avoid six player tables and turbos for now until you are more comfortable with the whole thing. |

Select Table settings. Pick "Separate Windows" viola! no more Pic-in-Pic mini views Still limited to just three tables though Quote:
You can always play three "play money" tables as if they were real..... keep good stats on how you play to make sure you're not "time pressure donking" before going on to real money Last edited by PokerPete : 20th June 2007 at 7:34 PM. |

does this confuse anyone else? what does this have to do with multi tabling? its already been said but I will say it again, start with just adding one more table, once you are comfortable at that table add another one etc. I didnt start playing 8 tables I moved up from one to the next and when I got to around 5-6 I knew I needed another monitor to be able to add more. Right now im at 8 and its about tops for me right now, you can not play lag playing like 8 tables and well there are alot of tips. 1. play tag 2. 4 color your deck (this is a must so you dont mix up suites) 3. use your pre-action buttons. 4. get ready to act fast my friend and its a blast. |
