Tilt 750k Sat. So i played one 54 person 50 point tourney today on FT and won entry to the big satellite to the 750,000 this sunday. (i actually played sound poker for a 50 point turbo o.O) Question: Is there any resources i can check for playing in this particular satellite, strategy or any advice?

It doesn't pay a high percentage so you'll have to play well and have some luck. Pay attention to where you stand chipwise. Pays over 100 players so if you survive that long play a smart sattelite game. Try to build a good stack and hold on to it. Just like a regular game, until you're close to the end. When it's getting close like 50 to go do only what you need to maintain position. Try not to tangle with bigger stacks. Once you have enough chips avoid tangling with any but the smallest stacks. This is where folding AA becomes correct. IF you are already "IN" fold EVERYTHING against ANY stack that can put a dent in yours. goldog

I'm in this as well tonight and have played in it once or twice before - basically you need to build a stack before the first break as quickly as possible and when you get over 15/20k or so fold every hand (apart from against tiny stacks). Well, this is techinacally the best way to play but since other people will be doing this you might want to sit back a little for the first couple blind and then steal to build your stack when people tighten up more, bit risky though. Anyway good luck and I might see you at the tables tonight!

re: Tilt 750k Sat. poker Thanks guys for the very good advice. I will play my best game possible! Hopefully i won't be too nervous and tighten up to the point of choking myself out. I too hope to see you in the 750k tommorrow JT! Now time for a quick nap before the tourney.

I have never enjoyed playing poker less than in this tournament - there were only 3 ppl or so on every table who weren't sitting out and it through me completely off my game, having both of them directly on my left - I felt physically sick most of the tournament
