Thinking of joining a new poker site . . . any pointers?

I've tried out both Full Tilt and Pokerstars and have made a profit on both. My accounts are dry now, however, and I wanted to reload into a site but realized that I'm not going to get any bonuses what so ever on either of them, so I'm thinking it would be smart to just join another site and get a first deposit bonus. What would be your next choice? Factors include best 1st deposit bonus, echecks depositing, and quality of play. What site would you recommend for me?

Carbon PokerCarbon Poker operates on the relatively new Merge network. This is a great site for freerolls. Get a bonus of 300% upto $600 using Carbon Poker coupon code CCHAT600.

Bodog.comwww.Bodog.com is one of the few poker sites for US players that also offers a Sportbook and online casino games.

Well we need some more information, what is important to you in a site, all sites have their pros and cons. Are you looking for the best freerolls or the most active money tables? good sit and go's? are you an american player? Let us know

based on what you've told us though. I'd go with carbon for the bonus code first deposit, 100% for up to $600

Ultimatebet would be your next one. They have the best first deposit bonus.

Sign up for Power Poker... it probably the best skin on the Cake Poker Network. If you register through a site like Thisisthenuts.com, or rakebreak.com you can get 33% rakeback, which is fantastic. They also have deposit bonuses, and maintain a high amount of traffic because it supports US customers. Its a win/win.

I'd join carbon / bodog / ultima-bet since there are CC freerolls + added money buy-ins there you might possibly want to play, too.

You needn't deposit on every site - just open an account.

I am going to deposit on carbon within the next days because I'm in Europe and there are a lot of europeans playing there.

Bodog and Ultimatebet tourneys fill up extremely slow during reasonable playing times for me (this could be different for you though).

As for strength of opposion (I can only talk about micros) I'd go with carbon, too - followed by bodog and Ultimatebet.

Make sure you get rakeback, too.

I would join a Cake Network site that has rakeback. Cake Poker does not deduct your bonus from your rakeback. Cake sites with rakeback:

Poker World
Players Only
Power Poker
Poker Host? I saw it somewhere
