think they will cut me a break?

I've been working hard in august to qualify for the one-a-day freeroll on ft. Everything was going good until a few days ago when i earned 100ft points by placing top two in a freeroll. I then thought i was good for the day and did not need to play in a ring game to get a full tilt point for the day. When i checked my iron man history a few hours later, i saw that no full tilt points were credited to my account for the day, despite the fact that i had earned 100 points for the day. I then hurried and tried to earn my point really fast with just a few minutes left in the day, but i only earned .86 of a point before my points started to carry over to the next day. I am going to try and send ft an email on the first of september explaining the situation, since it does not say in the rules that the point has to be earned in a ring game. Do you think that ft willl cut me a break, or do have any suggestions on what i should do? I would be pretty pissed off if i did not qualify for the freeroll because of this.

I'd email them right away, and include a copy of your tourney history placing 2nd in I assume the Face the Ace qualifier and explain why you thought they would count towards it and hopefully they'll cut you a break. Tho it could go either way. GL!

it does say that they must be earned

they dont have to be earned in a ring game.....but they must be earned by way of rake taken.
cold be in cash ring game....or by way of rake in the form of tournament fees paid

winning FTPs in a PAD, Face the Ace, ect..or winning a satty that pays out in FTPs doesn't count towards the "one a day", "iron man", "biggest bonus ever", or any other promotions based on earned FTPs


(I know how you feel just missing it......last 4 or 5 months in a row I somehow always manage to miss a one or two days for the month and miss out.....if it was easy, everyone would be in it

They've always been good at responding to my emails. I would try to emails them asap and see what they could do. That's pretty rough to get so close and not make it. GL!
