Are there any sites that let you setup an invite only tournament or sitngo?
I think that would be a great addition to any site but haven't seen it available.

Yes. You can do that on Fulltilt or Pokerstars (on Pokerstars you're required to have a minimum number of player pts. (FPP's) in order to setup a private tourney). On Fulltilt it's quite easy to do. My partner & myself have set up a few of them (ie. birthday tourneys).

I'm not sure about other sites for setting up priv. tourneys.
I've got some friends of mine here in town where I live who regularly hold games online, making them the min. buyin so that tourney fees are small and then pool their cash in a separate prizepool off of the site (games are typically $20 or $50 apiece). Kind of a neat way to set up a homegame where everyone stays at home, lol. I guess you could do it 'Battleship' style and have everyone show up with their laptops, lol. Battleship format is pretty funny... have tried it before, looking across the top of other's screens in an effort to pick up tells but usually turns into more of a comedy fest.

Looks like it takes 2K of FPP on pokerstars.
Getting a home game together is such a pain. Might be alot easier to setup a private tournament online and get people to participate regularly.

yes i believe merge sites do, i have had a sng on black chip poker before, and it was listed on all merge sites, so your friends could play from any merge site

Yes i'm pretty sure i've seen it on Carbon.
