Suspect cheating/mechanics in a card room... what to do? Is there any sort of legal a body out there (gaming commission?) that investigates potential cases of cheating/mechanics at a licensed gambling establishment? Without going into the details right now, I suspect there was something unsavory going on at card house I played in a couple of nights ago. It's a pretty "off the beaten path" place which somewhat increases the sketchiness factor. That was the first time in my 3+ years of poker that I felt that way.

there is definitely someone who regulates gaming machines but not sure how they handle cases of suspected cheating or rigged accusations . I'm sure they get many from people who lose to much money . but you need to try if you really think so , research it online and find out who you need to tell . good luck .

They have cameras everywhere. They probably recorded everything and if something is wrong they might notice. I had a problem in redemming a chip. I thought the cashier shortchanged me $20. They checked the tape and notifed me before i left the hotel that they could see nothing done out of hand. This wasn't a dealer situtation. They asked if i wanted to have the gaming board investigate the matter and had me sign paper as to what happened. Found the money later I gave 2 twentys to a family member because the bills were new and stuck together.

Left column there is a link for 'complaints'. Gaming commissions are usually happy to accept all complaints and investigate accordingly. Online or live ... ANY gambling/gaming attracts thieves and cheaters. Always good to keep the eyes open ... it's YOUR money they are after ... |

re: Suspect cheating/mechanics in a card room... what to do? poker Also get written down as specific as you can the dates/times of the issues and what about the issue that makes you suspect there is something amiss. Getting it written makes it easier to refer to when/if needed.
