Pokerstars by far has the most fish IMO, sometimes I think there are too many at times, as you can get beaten down when you come up against too many fish in the pool.
Otherwise, there is alot of profit to be made there, but be careful with choosing your tables there as there are alot of multi-tablers there and if you don't recognize them before hand, you may end up getting into a hand with one of these sharks thinking its just one of the fish.

Btw, yes I know that technically the plural for fish is still "fish." Just being silly.

'Fishes' can be correct. For instance, "Some classes of fishes are strictly herbivorous." But not in your instance. Where in Philly? I'm in the 'Great NE'.

As far as the question, I'd probably say Bodog, that's what I hear anyway. In sheer numbers, gotta be FT or PS, but %, probably Bodog. Reasoning being that Bodog is not just a poker site, but all kinds of gambling - sports, horse racing, casino games - and that there is a lot of crossover of players who mostly go w/Bodog for the other stuff. I kinda doubt this theory holds all that much water, but could be wrong. Keep in mind, the micros there are not as micro as FT & PS.

re: Survey: easiest US-friendly poker rooms for low-stakes hold'em

Since I've posted this -- no thanks to the overwhelming response, gang -- I've heard a few theories:

1) The bigger the pool, the more the fish. With so many more people at sites like Starts and Full Tilt, it means there many more bad players out there.

2) The sites with the most traffic have the most professional multi-tablers grinding every stake. Smaller networks (like Merge and Bodog) are full of fish because anybody that's good enough to multi-table has to go elswhere.

3) The lack of HUDs at sites (like Bodog among other) actually make people play tighter -- not better, but tighter, so there are more nits at the low stakes.

Anyone like these theories?

In my opinion Bodog is very fishy, but a differant kind of fish. Frequent bad beats and suckouts make playing tournaments the easiest way to exploit the fish.

I think its between Full Tilt and Pokerstars because of the sheer number of people.
