Stopping playing pokerstars?

Is there any way that I can stop myself playing for a set amount of time? I have exams coming up and I know there is zero chance of any revision being done if I can play poker/fifa. I have sold my games console to avoid fifa but as long as I have access to poker I will play poker. Has pokerstars got anyone that you can contact to have you're account suspended until a certain date? This is my last night of poker for the next month if I can get my account suspended I'll probably still visit here so I keep thinking about plays but I'm going to have to stop myself being able to play for a month. Then I'm going for platinum star in the summer.

Yea - you can make a request through them. It is in the options tab I think - can't remember - just look and you will find it.

But if it were me I would just decided I can't play - and practice some much needed self discipline.

But asking pokerstars to exclude you for some amount of time is practicing self discipline IMO.

History suggests that the self discipline route doesn't work hence the need to sell the games console and get rid of any possiblity that I have to play poker. If my whole br is locked up on ps then I can't play poker. . If I can put as much time into poker and fifa as I do into actually learning I'll be able to get straight A's.

Ahh, thanks. Probably going to play in some higher limit games tonight before I begin my poker exile

No way.

Since I hit my 1500 VPP $10 stellar reward earlier this month I have only been playing at the weekends, and it's amazing how many things I have managed to achieve around the home on weekdays since I stopped playing poker.

idk... it can be kind of addicting/distracting too imo

If I put as much time into poker and study i'd be getting a first at uni while grinding 24 tables of PLO100 haha
