Starting Over.Need some CC Advice.

I've taken a break from playing online for awhile(played some freerolls).I was tired of every couple of weeks having to deposit more money. So I took time off to read as much as I could to help my game.Anyway with a little new found confidence,I'm making a deposit(100) tommorow.Pokerstars or FT?And what stakes should I start at as far as ring, sng and tourney buyins?
Just want to say thanks in advance.Cardschat has helped me tremendously.Awesome forum!!!!

The lowest possible.

Ring, you'll play $2NL ($.01/$.02). Tourneys, nothing more than $2.20.

I recommend PokerStars over FullTilt, as it has more variety and smaller rake.

If you play PokerStars, I'm a big fan of the $2.20 satellites to the Sunday $100k. All winners get the same $11 ticket to the Sunday $100k, but then you can unregister and get $11t.
The trick at the end of the satellites is to play really tight and watch people (who should just fold their way to the money) knock each other out.

how often do you win the $2.20 satelitte? Isnt it only 1 winner that advances to the 100 grand out of like hundreds of players? Have you cashed out ever at the $100 grand yet>?

I've never played the 2.20 sats to it, I've only played the 70 fpps myself, and that one is pretty easy to beat, just fold your way and wait for big hands, or excellent starting hands, before u know it ur down to 3 and then proceed as planned. As for 100 br, I would say, really mtts, more money if u win meaning bigger br, and less to spend

Everything Penguin has said is fantastic advice. Just for god sakes don't break the rules of the bankroll. Good luck mate and be patient, patience will pay off

So what did you determine was the cause of your prior failure to maintain a BR? What changes are you planning to implement to correct those problems?

Hope you friend makes a full and speedy recovery and good luck with your latest (last?) deposit.

Biggest problem was patience.Just wanting to see a fast return on money. Was playing way out of my bankroll range. And not keeping track of my play.Which caused tilt play.
Now i've gone back and read up on things i knew but wasnt using (position, math, theory)Word to the wise you dont need to read poker books, you need to study them!!
I will definitely use better BRM this time around and play at micro levels grinding it out until I can move up.

i would go with Stars... but make sure you don't get bored man! Thats the biggest problem for me... when i play micro limits i get really bored even though my bank account wont allow me to play what i want to play... right now i have no money but when i was playing i had 1k and was playing 2/4 like an idiot... but i have faith this time you will get it right! goodluck to you!

No offense intended (because I'm far from a seasoned player), but if you have to ask this question you probably need to read a bit more...
