Starting online Hello everyone i have played online for about the last year. When i started playing it was for the MTT's and i was not very serious. I deployed to Afghanastan in Sept. and have not played online for awhile. Since im saving money over here when i get back home i will have enough cash saved to start off at a reasonable roll around 400 to 600. Needless to say before i left home i got serious and started grinding out the micros and got myself a nice little profit. I think still down if you add up all the money spent on the MTT's. The question is if i want to focus on cash games only and a few MTT's here and ther what site would be the best for me. Im gonna open a new account and try to clear the bonus at whatever site. I have played at FT and Pokerstars, im just wanting to know out of all sites that accept U.S. players which is the best and why. Thanks guys. rodney

It's up to your personal preferences for the best US sites. I actually don't play on FT or PS. I like Bodog and Feltstars. They both accept US players. Thank you for serving for the USA!

re: Starting online poker If I'd only played previously on Fulltilt & Pokerstars & then went & opened up a Cake/doyles account, I'd want to throw up. I think that site totally sucks! I actually used to like it .... a bit. Now the rest of my roll sits there doin' nothing cuz the thought of playing on there makes me wanna puke. idk... personally I'd just get playing on whatever site you preferred more over Stars or FTP. (then maybe play somewhere else too...if clearing a bonus is what you're after). I have no clue what the bonus deal is on Carbon (merge) but have heard (& witnessed a bit of) the play on the micro cash tables is weaker than FTP. I recall hearing that the bonus/reward program on there before was really good but some changes were made to it & is no longer what it once was (but still don't know what it was then... or now). Bodog has weak play on it. Some like to play on there. Again I hate that f'n site. If you can put up with their software & only being able to play on 4 tables at a time, I guess it'd be a possiblity.
