Sportsbook Poker to WSOP

I know there doesn't seem to be a lot of people who play on Sportsbook poker here on C.C.

I have for one done very well there. They are on the cake network like Doyals room. It's all the same except on Sportsbook they have different freerolls at times.

Unlike other sites that have private forum tournaments. Sportsbook had 3 to 4 $1000 free rolls a week...I placed in winnings almost everytime I played these. 3,000 people max...they where a lot of fun.

Now they are running a WSOP package. All week long you can qualify for the Sunday main event tournament. Three times a day. The top 50 advance. I have made two of these but ten both Sundays I was knocked out in the top 20.

Sundays event usally only has 800 to 900 people.

First place is 13k prize package to the WSOP...with second getting a $1000...not a bad second but who wouldn't want to go to the WSOP!

thanks for the tip on Sportsbook, I think I"ll gonna try this site and see for myself what they can offer. Also, I want to know what kind of variance of play they have. The most important of all, the tournaments and freerolls they host in their poker room. See you at the tables.

pretty much the same wsop package on players only and cake they all have just a lttle different variation of freerolls gold chips or 250k satelites .

i for one LOVE sportsbook i think its the best site out there, sure a lot of people dont play on it like full tilt (has like a constent 60,000 + on at a time) i think it has the least donkey players, with the least amount of suckout hands. did my best on there sat down at a 1$ 2$ NL ring game with the table minimum ($40) about 15 minutes in i hit hand after hand and get from 40-250 in like 45 minutes. After that i sat out (at the same table) went to smoke a blunt outside for like 10-15 minutes. came back and within the hour double up like 3 times and had a cashier or $1018 in my account imidietly cashed out a $1000 check, and played around with 18 dollar in sit and go's lost it all a couple hours later but still from going from 40$-1000 + in 2 horus was fun

I have read about them not being the best with paying out and things, has anyone had any issues with them in that aspect?

It not a bad freebie. A 13K package. To me thats a good deal and from the last 2 weeks I saw no more than 800 battle it out for the 10K seat.

Anyone playing at Sportsbook on Cake is making a big mistake....The Sportsbook side of the operation has horrible problems paying people and is known for many problems that have also creeped into the poker operations. The Sportsbook is rated D- by SBR the leading reputation reviewer on the web.

Just read some of the complaints by people trying to get their money withdrawn to realize you should never become a customer.

If you want to play Cake choose one of the other skins

I think they are pretty much the same. Players Only had some monster freerolls in Jan and Feb. $1K 3 times a week, but I have not seen those lately. I think it is worth paying attention to withdrawal problems. Cake won't let you withdraw for under $500.00, so unless you have deposited a couple of hundred you are going to have to be committed to the site in order to build a sufficient bankroll to withdraw unless you can have it transferred to another player and have him withdraw it for you. OUCH.

While it is true that if you want to cash from Cake poker by CHECK, the min withdrawal is $500. However if you want to withdrawal using an e-wallet of your choice! You can withdrawal for as little as $50.00. I just think that is fair to mention. I don't play on Cake poker but I do play on three of the Cake network skins. So far I have had no problems whatsoever.

SBR also provides moderation to players who have problems with Sportsbooks. Meaning--They have had many complaints on Sportsbook and the book has done little or nothing to resolve the disputes even with the help of the website

i play on a cake skin called superbook that is running a similar promotion. top 50 out of 3,000 satellite into the sunday event where they give a $13,000 main event prize package for first place. anybody got any info. on this site at all, i am in this sundays main event hoping to win this package. are these two seperate sites or am i wasting my time.

I had registered, but almost did not play on the Sportsbook. Already a week after registration, I am doing correspondence with suport. I do not know: Is there any sense to me to play in this room. In another skin Cake I have no such problems.

They have just added a new Cake Skin as well....PokerWorld

This was a small independent room that is owned by an A Rated sportsbook operation that is known for treating customers well. I would join PokerWorld in an instant as opposed to Sportsbook.com
