Where does it say that it accepts only US players?? I think you're getting that confused with "also" accepts US players.
Can't tell you anything about those freerolls, other than that they sound very familiar. I've probably seen them at another poker room on the same network. And if I have, they're open to more than just Russians. And are you sure that EVERYONE was Russian? I know it can sometimes seem that everyone is from a certain country, because 3 or 4 of them keep chatting in their own language. But everyone? Seems unlikely. |

I just wish Full Tilt and Pokerstars could hide the freerolls that are exclusive to other countries.
Which is actually the topic of my latest blog post. </shameless plug> |

Even if they do accept players from other countries which there service rep said they dont, we get practically no freeerolls, only the million dollar sattelite ones, while other countries are getting tons of good freerolls...if it was a fair balance fine, but as it is we get nothing...a real slap in the face... edit: heres is their BS answer... Dear James, Thank you for contacting us. The free rolls you refer to were removed recently due to necessary software upgrades being applied to the site. Unfortunately, we will not be offering them to our customers. Should you note chat appearing in the dialogue seemingly in a Slovak language this is generally resultant of players attempting to converse in code. In turn our system will convert this to a sequence of random letters which you may believe to be Russian or another Slovak language. We can, however, assure you that there is no means through which these players may converse and should you review the chat yourself you may confirm through the use of an online translator that this is not a viable language. However, should you wish for us to review any suspicious chat we may do so without issue. We will simply require the table/tournament ID and the player names in question. We will then promptly relay this information directly to our security team for their review. We appreciate your integrity and vigilance in this matter. We are always here to help you. Please feel free to reply to this email if you have any additional questions in relation to this or any other matter. Kind regards, Ahmed Jones -- Sportsbook Poker here is my answer: wish I could believe you but dont for the following reasons: 1.) players names were in slovak( are they using code names?) 2.) players cities were in slovak 3.) the entire table was talking in this langauge...if thats so and the whole table was using code i was cheated and should be compensated... 4.) i was switched to another table and the same as above applies.. 5.) these freerolls have never appeared before and have never since...software update is code for "we are lying you" any players who play sportsbook.com regulary will know this is a fake excuse.... re: Sportsbook.com hiding freerolls from US players poker
I just wish I had known, I would have played there instead of sportsbook, theyre just skins of each other not totally different sites..also they accept epassporte and I would have rather played there so I could use my gold chips and cards in better freerolls...kinda of annoying is all...kinda funny though i got routed to that sites servers trhough sportsbook.com
Ill just play at redstars from now on....lol would have easier if they just told me it was one of their skins..i mean really they didnt know? |

They are completely different sites, they just use the same network. Just like Titan, Noble, and CD Poker share the same network, but operate independently from one another.

Just came across this now and I'll agree. One friday night i logged on to sportsbook and there were at least 5 freerolls i had never seen before. None of them would allow me to register to them even though they did not have a password, all that would show was an error message.

imo, although this is a bit odd, it sounds players only had cake poker games, redstar poker games and perhaps another skin listed on their site by mistake. i can certainly understand your confusion, but its just a weee bit dramatic.

re: Sportsbook.com hiding freerolls from US players poker
People and their freerolls. They are freerolls, a promotion. Something that they give away for free. Something that you didn't earn. Quit bitching like you are entitled to something that you are not. Quit being cheap, pony up $25 bucks to $100 bucks or whatever and deposit on a site. Man, I just love how people get upset about free stuff and act like they are owed it or something!!!
