Spending FPPs

Hey rockstars

I'm just getting into playing a much larger volume of SnGs than I have ever done before and am starting to accumulate FPPs at a decent rate. I already have my heart set on some of the pokerstars gear just cause I think it'll give me incentive to play each time I see it and just motivate me that much more, but my question is: Is this a horrible idea?

Like I've seen on a couple other forums people talking about spending some on items and everyone saying its a horrible idea and that they should be using them for step tickets or to buy into the sunday million or something.

Personally I want a couple items with the Stars logo though

I'm just curious if anyone has done the math and figured out about the best way you can spend an FPP and if it is that much of a difference I'll probably just take the money :/

It all comes down to money. If you want to spend that money on pokerstars gear instead of tourny entries that is up to you. Do what will make you happy.

Yea thats pretty much how I'm looking at it, i guess I'm just curious if after I get the gear I want if someone has already figured out what the best deal for them is

I bought a hat. Didn't fit. Wore it once. It now collects dust (for awhile beside my TV, now in the closet).
Thought about getting a hoodie. Before doing so, I was in a Salvation Army ThriftStore, I spot a thick-looking black sweatshirt sleeve in the XL section (hmm... maybe a decent sweatshirt for work?). I pull if off the rack & it's a Pokerstars Hooded sweatshirt with full zipper. $1.99 I buy it.

Maybe I'll buy a couple of books?

Depending upon how many FPPs you have - - If I had alot I would play the Turbo Takedown. IF I had a little I think there's a 210FPP satty to 1/4mill (11 T$'s). (or maybe it's 280FPP... I forget).

Can spending 210VPP on an $11 ticket be worthwhile if you only colleect .83 VPP for each dollar you pay into a tournament not counting fees. I gues I don;t know what else to do with the VPPs I was just wondering.

I want some jacket or some poker card pack, a table...
But they are really expensive..
I wish I won some big tourney so I could get a lot of points..

I think all players get the same VPP when you enter whether you win or not. Is this right everyone?

Yes, the points you get = the rake you pay.

Everyone pays the same amount of rake in a tourney.

I'm a fan of the 210 FPP Satellite. When I win I unregister from the $1/4 Million.

i bought i hat, with the rest of my FPPs i play 6 max super turbo qualifier to 3.3$ rebuy, first 2 get in the tournament, third gets his points back, so i kinda like it. usually i unregister from the tournament because i don't like it that much and i play whatever else i like with my tournament dollars. but i did get to 30 few days ago in one of these 3.3$ rebuy tourny and won 92$ so it was not bad for 84 FPPs.

i always use my fpp's to play satellites. i order poker gear off of ebay and poker forums. put a post up askin if anyone is gettin rid of gear, worked for me. and u get it at a much cheaper price!
