| Some good finishes (shameless self-promotion) Feeling reasonably chuffed over here. Last Monday I placed 7th out of 1200+ entries in a freeroll winning R400 ($58). And last night I came 2nd in a R100 freeze-out, winning R1000 ($140). Was looking good to win this one (would've been my first) until villian got dealt rockets twice in the space of 10 hands. That's 2 final tables in my last three starts. The only annoyance is that as my tourney play has improved (measured ito ave finishes), my cash game seems to have taken a whack; and am struggling to finish with more than I sat down with. |

| They are two different beasts completely. There are pros that can't do both. Looks like for now your in tournament mode so I would stick to those. I would look going back to the cash tables when your tournament luck starts to go south. I have sworn off cash games for a month (my May goal). I just can't win there either. Flop two pair to get beat by set, get straight to be outdrawn by flush etc. |
