Some Full Tilt Poker Academy questions.

Just a few questions about the academy. Since I'm trying to grind a bankroll from almost nothing the academy points seem like a nice way for me to add some extra value while still playing good poker.

Does redeeming FTPA points subtract from rakeback?
Can I convert the step and tournament tickets into cash (I know there woudl be a fee).
If so which would give the best value for the points spent. (the includes just getting the cash bonuses)

Oh and just a random question added in. If I was to win a sattelite to the WSOP tourny (the one where 5 players win a 12k dollar package), could I unregister to get some FTPs, or if I was to actually win the 12k dollar package (yeah right) could I unregister and get money instead? The reason I ask is I'm 20 and you must be 21 to play in the WSOP obviously.

step tickets cant be converted into cash but can be used for tourn. with same buy in value each step has a set buy in i think step 1 is like $3 + $0.70 not sure . you cant use it to buy in to a tourn that is $2 + $0.50 it has to equel the amount of step 1 buy in. i hope this helps good luck

Ive joined Full tilt academy before but not fully active now. I once got a ticket from something i did in the academy but hardly locate where to redeem the ticket. I tried to ask the support system but took me so long just to wait for the response. So i decided to come along their forums hopefully someone from them could help me. From that post i made, just an hour of waiting, answers are made. Why not to sign up to their forum, they might help you right away.

if you unregister from the main event sattie you'll get a $1 tourney ticket added to yer account you can transfer that into real money and play a few more of those sattelites that are .30 1st n 2nd gets !$ ticket and 3rd gets .50. i grinded .30 from a freeroll into 22$ stickin to the min. buy in sattelites and just kept unregistering and i won 8$ in the daily dollar

I'm pretty sure the ftpa points don't affect your rakeback.
I think the best way to spend them is the full tilt points bonuses, they give you the most versatility.

When I unregister I just get my ticket back.

Isn't the rake on those 30 cent ones probably pretty extreme? And if not is the field normally softer?

You can't exchange tickets for cash...

I play SNGs SNL's quiz on Full Tilt Academy and they give me ticket for FTPA chalenge round1. They gave me the same ticket last month and after that I didn't have to find the $5000 Academy freeroll to register. Did that tournament play last month and can I register for that tournament this month?

Which ticket? The FPTA main event ticket too?
