I'm headed to Camp Pendleton in a couple of weeks for an inspection that should take about a day. I'll be in the area 3 days. Can anyone recommend a good brick and mortar casino in the area and give me reasons why one is better than another in their opinion. I have a list of teh SOCal Casinos, but was unsure which may be better. Also, would love to meet any Cardschatters in the area.

I don't know any low brow or brick n mortar casino's around, but Comemrce Casino is los angeles is the best poker room in southern california. If you can't make it up to LA, there's BERONA casino down by san diego that's awesome( heck the place is endorsed and maybe partially owned by Kenny Rogers) and also there's pechanga casino which isn't bad, but if you want to make some money in so. cal i would head to commerce. or you can try to go play with the drunks at hollywood park, usually equally prfitable but a little more nanoying. gl.

Ocean's 11 is on the coast, much closer than any of the LA casinos, Lady Luck is in San Diego. Either of those would worth checking out before driving all the way to LA. But if you do decide to come to LA, Schlomo's right, just go to Commerce, it's right on the 5 freeway, more tables than you have ever seen.
