i played in a pokerstars freeroll with 6000 people in it. The top 9 get sent to a satellite tournament where you can win money. I finished 22 out of 6000. I have never been so mad and happy at the same time. I was happy i did that good but also mad that i got nothing out of it .

I played a freeroll at fulltilt with 900 people. This site gives u money if u win, you have to get in the top 4 to receive money. I finished 12 out of 900, i guess i was not made to receive money from a freeroll tourny.

Those freeroll tournaments with so many people enrolled are so hard to deal with. It takes you so long to play them and when you get that close you don't know what to think. Yeah youre happy you finished in the top 99 percent but you are also unhappy because you spent all that time and still got the same reward as the person that got knocked out first. I guess its a is this glass half full kinda thing. Happy Playing

Very Nice Job.

Finishing first in a 3 or 6k field is quite an achievement.
You must of distracted the boys with your good looks. lol
I am just getting started in the slum rolls. Managed to do pretty good so far.,
My first Cardchat on Sat. earned me $1.88. at Noble. That lasted a few days on the $1 tables lol.
Ultimate bet has been good too. Made the top 50 and the TEC finals last week.
Then last night or rather this morning I made it to 10th and got a whopping $4.50 B$. Now I just have to figure out what a B$ is.

Best of luck at Paradise today if you can make it.

ps: Just a thought, but I am going to see if Nick can add a Tourney Results thread catagory that we can all pat our backs on.

Right here is a good start Smitty: Then most all the sites, Paradise, Ultimate bet, Absolute etc etc all have Freerolls for real money. It is very tough out there, but a good way to start. I have learned a lot just from the few that I have played in.

Getting better and learning more and more day by day. Not enough moeny to retire on but a great learning experience. My first few I was blown out within an hour. Now I manage to make the top 50 or better pretty consistantly.

Search for Texas Holdem and you will go blind looking at all the sites and forums out there.

Good luck and hope to see you today at the Paradise Tourney, Yes, Real Money right out of Nick's pocket LOL.

Hint: see Passwords for today's tourney

Congrats, on the 79 dollars and first place. How many people entered the tournament? Was it a freeroll?
