sit-n-go's Not sure about the rest of you but these things kill me. I get sucked out on these things all the time. I just had one where it happened twice. I had pocket kings I guy called with A,Q,h and sucked out a flush after the flop. Then latter a guy put me all in after I bet out on the flop with a board of A,9,2 I had A,K and he had A,J and hit the jack on the river. These sort of things happen to me a lot. I would say have of my sit-n- go's I'm out because of a suck out.Put it in with the best hand come out a loser. Thinking of giving up playing these. What do you think?

Don't fret, stay tight and eventually your hands will stick up. You are probably just on a run of bad luck. SNG's are a great way to build your bankroll if you let the donkeys take care of each other and then pounce when you have a premium hand. Eventually they will stand up.

Generally speaking the lower the buyin the more suckouts you will run into, although you can find very good tight players In $5 buyins & donks at $20 buyins. Are you playing shorthanded tables full 1 table or multi table SNG's? Personally I prefer the shorthanded games & i will walk away from Allin's early & let the others take each other out unless I have top hands. Curious where one goes if SNG suckouts are getting you down. Ring games are, at least in my opinion, much worse. While one can't & shouldn't ignore the effects on your bankroll you will benefit in the long run if you focus on how you play rather than on how much you win or lose. Good luck.

Bear in mind that you want those kinds of players in your game, because ones that only put in chips when they have a better hand than you aren't profitable to play against. You hit runs of bad luck, where you just can't win for suck-outs, but in the long run, these bad players will give you your profits...

Sit n goes I play sit n goes a lot at bodog.com. I do not like bodog. I just get bonuses there a lot. Well i sit in the sit n goes. I dont even play good cards usually. If the flop isnt free, I dont usually see it. Because someone prolly has you beat after it at bodog. Because people play terribly there. You just bluff at some pots preflop. Take some blinds and sometimes take a pot down with AA or KK. Just wait for 3 people left. Then, you gotta play for first. Lots of all-ins. Steal lots of blinds. Thats the way I play them. I do pretty well too.

re: sit-n-go's poker My last two sit n go 's I was knocked out my K,K vs beleive it a 3,6 guy hit his flush. then my last one blinds 15/30 guy call my 180 raise and anothers allin which made it 310 to go . I had A,K he had K,J flopped 3,K,J Not sure what to do to keep the fish at bay. Not sure how you all feel about K,J but it my opion it isn't worht 2 cents. Either I can't beat bad players or my luck just sucks period end of story

FINALLY, I won one of these dang things. Didn't start out pretty my pocket Q's lost to a A,2s after I reraised. So I was down 300 of the bat. Then against two allin's my pocket kings lost on the river to a 10,8 offsuit and set me back 2000. Battled back to the final table. It was a multi table sit n go. When we got heads up after awhile I had a 2-1 chip lead. 1000-2000 blinds ihad 4,5 offsuit in the big blind he raised to 5000 i called the flop came k,4,5 he lead into me 8000 almost half his stack. I fiiqured him for a king so I went all in and after a debate he called and turned over a 2,6 offsuit my hand held up and I win finally.
