Silly tournament structures - Tribeca Network

Hey there.

After speaking to many people it was generally agreed the Tribeca tourny structures (high end freezeouts) are stupid.

Due to this we decided to create a petition. All the aim is, is to try and get them to understand what proper players think. Thus we'd like support! Only sign if you agree of course. If you don't, that's fine. Please don't send abuse though... it should be a simple agree or not. Thanks very much for the support!

The current structure is explained on the petition.

Um, couldn't you just play somewhere else instead where you like the tourney structure?

Well they kicked U.S. players off so my signature is pointless.

I'm pretty much forced to play VCPoker at the moment (internet provider wont connect to anything else apart from that), and yes, it sucks alright - i raised 3 x BB half an hour into a SnG to steal the blinds, then realised i'd put over half my chips in! A petition though? Just play on a site that has a structure you like, surely?

(P.S, where you been?).

If a site were retarded enough not to have proper tourney structure, I wouldn't offer them my business. I'd move my 'roll elsewhere.

Sorry to say (martin), but I withdrew my dough from Costa Del because their tournies were just too ridiculous. 8 min blinds (15/25, 25/50, 50/100, 75/150, 100/200!?!?) with a 1000-chip starting stack for a regular tourney is insane. Especially with the blinds rising at intervals that large.

Wow...why not just put everyone's name in a hat and pick one out to name the winner.

Yeah, moving sites is definitely the bigger impact to a site than a petition would be.

Girlfriend moved in and second year of university has been absolutely manic! BUt dont worry pokers getting back to a priority so i'll be back around

As for reason not moving, tribeca is known for the worst players among 2+2 and ITH, and ive made a LOT from cash and extended sng's...

Its just the freezeouts there do my head in. I want to play better ones dammit but dont want to move!

If people agree please sign it I know moving helps but i want all people to sign, players and none tribeca players.. move volume!

Thanks guys

I don't play on that network but agree that the tourney structure is not good at all so I signed the petition.

Thanks very much Whether they take it seriously or not its up to them, but once they've seen the view of the players, surely they can't dismiss it totally?
