Should I retry Paradise? One of my first posts to this forum was about how much I hated Paradise poker since they treated me rudely when I asked them what happened to the freerolls on their site. However I've read alot about how the CC freerolls are a bunch of fun and the play pretty decent. So what do you think? Should I eat humble pie and rejoin or stick to my guns and "never play them again" as I told them some 6 months ago.

Meh, if a site is downright rude to me I leave and don't look back. One of the reasons I only hold funds at Stars is because when I was getting started there I had some connection trouble (stupid routers...) and their support was great, so I have a weird sense of loyalty to them. >_> Mind you, you could just rejoin just to play the freerolls, that way you don't give them the satisfaction of making any money from you.

re: Should I retry Paradise? poker I played in the freeroll last week and it was actually fun. No crazies or rude jerks - just folks playing good poker. Didn't play today as the load of crap posts from the freeroll junkies has me a bit irritated. About 10 minutes before it started tonight I actually got PM's by a newbie asking for a password - damn now they send messages AND make crappy posts. Anyway, I find Paradise kind of slow but the one I played in was a good experience...

If you're looking for freeroll play, then Paradise is probably not your best choice. The only freerolls I've seen them have (besides the CC freeroll, which is a relatively new addition, and the new Million Dollar freeroll) is some WSOP qualifiers that are held twice a day during the WSOP run. But it is a good sit for SNGs. That being said, since I joined the Cardschat forum some months back after seeing their first freeroll listed on the tourney menu, I have discovered some more great sites thanks to the forum! I enjoy Noble Poker for the low-limit SNGs, PokerHost for the many freerolls and SNGs/tourneys, and now Royal Vegas where I plan to try out IrishDave's table on Friday nights if he hasn't given up hope yet (and where, by-the-way, you get $10 free just for signing up!). I have to say I actually am leaning towards Noble and Royal more than Paradise now due to the low deposit requirement (only $20--versus Paradise's $50 minimum). So I haven't been doing much playing at Paradise except for our freeroll, which I would encourage you to come play in if nothing else!
