action-points,before,December,31st,which,they,extended,to ,January,31st.
You,could,get,Doyles,books,for,free.Though,I,never ,made,a,deposit,I
earned,the,points,to,qualify,so,I,contacted,suppor t,to,see,if,I,could,still
get,the,books.When,informing,them,I,was,from,New,Y ork,State,which,I
had,listed,on,my,account,when,I,joined,they,took,t he,150$,or,so,I,had
won,and,shut,off,my,account.

I can read your posts just fine, a lack of a space bar function must be tough but you seem to be managing ok.
Back to your Doyles problem, I can only assume that New York State is not allowed at that site right?
If so, and the fact that you didn't hide that information when you signed up comes across as though Doyles security facilities leaves a lot to be desired.

On the other hand, it might of been that your keyboard had the same space bar issues when you signed up there and the way you would have typed in "New York State" would of looked more like this........ New,Y ork,State, thus bypassing their block on that State.
Either way, it still indicates their security measures suck.

As for them taking your $$$, that's a bit harsh if you did indeed declare your place of residence when signing up. From what you have told us it seems to me as though they fell down on more than one count TBH.

The fact that you have never deposited there might have something to do with the situation and why you might of missed their block etc but that's no excuse on their part really.
They should of just sent you your $$$, closed your account, and sent you a mail explaining why they did it.

I used to play at Doyles Room, and to be honest, there support etc are very poor when it comes to account/money issues.

There are a few things which annoyed me about doyles which I will list:

1. They held a $250,000 GTD NLHE Freezeout a few months back, with a buy-in of $165 (I think). There were sats running for this event and I ended up winning a seat. It came to about 30 minutes before the tournament was due to begin and they cancelled the tournament and rescheduled it a week later. They said it was because players were getting disconnected alot around that time, even though no one reported it on any forums back then. But the actually reason IMO was that there was about $130,000 overlay.

2. Recently I had a lot of connection issues with doyles, they said it was my broadband connection, so I tried alsorts to solve it, even changed my ISP, but ended up having the same problem with them. But even though I was disconnecting from Doyles every two seconds, all other poker rooms I had installed were running fine.

3. Doyles is part of microgaming which has a lot of spyware on its software, which I do not trust.

Just my thoughts on Doyles Room, I would mention a lot of suck outs and patterns in the RnG, but I will get my head bitten off lol.
