Scoop on Doyle's Room??

Hi, I signed up cos the the FR, and may make small deposit so I can use electronic transfer to withdraw when I win , so any regs out there who play this room -- what are the softest games/limits, best deals on tourneys etc.? Can anyone give us their view of the site's workings?? (minus the payout issues pls -- that is another thread).

I'm glad you posted this, I would like to know as well. I had just downloaded this room and made an account but had not made a deposit yet because the very next day the room was down and unavailable.

Doyle's are on the cake network, right?

I read that they just signed a bunch of pro players - 10 I think.

I only know the cake network as good functionality and interesting opportunities with you reward medals/points or what they call it at Doyle's.

One thing I have too say is, I have never experienced a poker room (cake poker) with as many action cards...I thought that right from the first day and still do...I have been playing right from the start when they still were doing developments...anyway this is of the topic)

I find the play at doyles to be soft at micro levels. Great feeders for big tourney seats and lots of ev in their guaranteed tournies.

re: Scoop on Doyle's Room?? poker

doyles is on the cake network and that network puts out some of the worst bad beats i have ever seen in online play other than full tilt of course.and the comment about the live cards is true.meaning that ther will be 4 sets of poket pairs on a ten seat table happens to much and the cards will be 10 10 jj qq aa on those lines.i try to find low limit tables to play instead of getting into big hands on the cake network as i have found you will not come out sitting pretty as yuo think even if you flop a set.
anyway thats my thoughts on it

Doyle's room

If Doyle's room is on cake Please do not go there! Just go to Cake or one of the other skins. I signed up for Doyle'sroom right before UIGEA and played on there several months while fulfilling 3/4 of my bonus requirement (which was around $400) only to be told I couldn't get any portion of my bonus when they stopped american players from playing. I got some of my points when they transferred my account to Full tilt ....I think it was a very bad 12 to 1 conversion if I remember correctly. When Doyle's room went on the Prima network for a while they sent me an email asking me to comeback.

So I sent their cust service an email asking if they would be willing to give me some sort of credit for my previous bonus requirement or credit me with fulfilling part of the wagering requirement if I made a new deposit. I get an email saying they will respond and 2 weeks later no response. I send a followup email and it takes them days to respond to that one. Their customer responds in an obtuse fashion as if they don't know what I am talking about. They go onto further state that I am not eligible for any sign-up bonus because I was previously a player at the old room. I send a response telling then i never got a bonus from them before and explain again what happened.
Again they respond as if they are puzzled by my request.

Why ever sign up at Doyle'sroom? when their customer service is so poor and Fulltilt and Bodog is so much better. They are willing to screw they customers. Given the fact they keep changing skins multiple times who knows if they will even stay on the cake newtwork or move to some other non-US network.

I would never be caught dead on Doyles Room after all the paying out problems I've heard about, unless they started turning themselves around.

Make sure to take the free (rebated) Bounty entry at some point during your play on the site. It's $27.50 and there are bounties on various players. I played it a few weeks back, placed around 15th for $140 or so and had my entry fee rebated a day or two later (there's a website to go to do that). I had Mike Caro to my right for not quite an hour and finally got my stack larger than his but got moved to another table before he busted. Argh! I kept watching the table and it was amusing to watch about half the table push all-in to try to claim the $1000 bounty on him. 10-4 offsuit was the big winner when he hit trips on the flop. The guy already had at least half of his chips in as the big blind so I can't blame him.

IMO, doyles Room sux no matter where they move it to. I reset my password I don't know how many times and still can't log in. Stick to Cake, I signed up through, I can't say, and play a 3k freeroll that i've cashed in every month for playing 1 raked hand the month before.

after campaigning in the comments section of doyles blog for an entire day, i was told a new check is on the way, being sent "ups or fedex" and that i "might get it by tomorrow".

i'll post again if i receive a check, and 2 weeks after i deposit it to see if it bounces again.

re: Scoop on Doyle's Room?? poker

they continue to lie to me and claim a check is on the way, but i've been waiting over 6 months for a single payout.

my advice would be to avoid this site completely. SCAM.
