It's so playing with people bitch and moan every hand, when you beat them...

I swear, this guy was just yelling through the computer screen at me, calling me whatever he could think of the whole time, pretty much once we got to the final table, because I had won a few big pots off him (with the better hand the whole way, on all the streets, lol, go figure). Anyways, ended up heads-up, by miracle rivers for him, so he thinks he's a great player and all, whatever. So I just waited, and got a decent lead against him, and then waited for a nice hand to let him just blow-up on. I had AQ preflop, and raised 3xBB, he immediately called. Then he raised all-in on the flop, when Q103 rainbow flops, I call. He has A9, and let the cussing begin. I think I'm going to add him to my fish list, and try to find SnG's he plays in and go there, he's not that smart of a player, and very hilarious to play against cause he'll always lose and give you a show.

Anyways, just posting here, my biggest win online on PokerStars (had some big wins on Bodog, but started playing here PokerStars more) since starting to play there, this 27-person SnG.

well done Estelle! I love people who act like they are 4 yrs old when they lose! Quite honestly, I lose with more dignity than when I win.

I wonder which "Dublin" he's from. Dublin, California is full of rich idiots and Dublin, Ireland is said to be a large consumer of Guinness Stout. (Maybe Tenbob can comment?)

Anyway, I wrote an article about verbal abuse in online poker a little while back and it may be of some interest.

Thanks, yes, well I've only played on Full Tilt a couple times, and I havn't noticed an unusual amout of bad behavior, but you have to expect that everywhere in online poker.

Oh and it wasn't a freeroll, lol, I wish there is a freeroll on PokerStars that is limited only to 27 people, and pays $50 to 1st place, but sadly there isn't. It was a $5.50 buyin, but thanks anyways.

I had a person in a headsup match that couldn't stop talkin crap to me... It was entertaining to see how much he would go on and on about how I suck.. and I just didn't type anything...

Unfortunatly he beat me.. he pushed with A10 and i called with 10,10.. he hit the flush... But it was still funny

Gratz on the win

LOL, that's great. He's calling you scum and then you reply w/ GG. That only pisses people off more. Good Job! Handled that with class and dignity. I don't know if I could have.

On full tilt the other day I limp on the button with 9c10c. small blind calls and big blind checks, and flop comes 995 rainbow. UTG raises big, MP folds, and I call. The turn was a 2 and he bets big again, I call. The river was another 5, and he checks, I go all in, and he calls. I win with the boat and he has pocket aces. He then talks all kinds of crap calling me a bad player. Saying "you suck you effin donkey. What a horrible hand to play. You will never be a winning player playing hands like that, you are a piece of shit, etc."

I finally couldn't take it anymore so I fired back with "looks like I won right there. I'm not the one that limped w/ Aces, and then you kept firing out money and calling down when you knew you were beat. Who's the bad player again?"

Then he told me that he hopes I die! LOL, where do these people come from?

Yes I guess it was, but then I also added later on as he continued to just cuss away at me after i ended, "Thank you for participating, I hope I can have the pleasure of your services again in the future. Have a nice day."

What were the hands that pissed the guy off? Nice job on the win, but something made him angry, and I'm sure it wasn't superb playing, I'm guessing maybe a suckout....or 5? Anyways, let us know what hands (Hand History would be nice) so that you may have all the kudos you deserve. From my experience, most people don't complain unless someone gets lucky on them, refer to You Want The Fish To Call.... But even then...just do what I do and break your keyboard....or 9. Anyways nice win, and good luck in the future, look foward to seeing what hands pissed that guy off and put you in position to win.

The NBA has no monopoly on trash talk.

[U Wanna Fold] says, "What were the hands that pissed the guy off? Nice job on the win, but something made him angry, and I'm sure it wasn't superb playing, I'm guessing maybe a suckout....or 5? I could not disagree more. Most players who rant like this only have need one motivation...being a loser (that hand, that day or that tournament). This player is like MANY others I have encountered over the years that bitch just because they lose. No other criteria needed. The idea that he needed more reason than just losing doesn't fit with my experience.
