Rush Poker Coming to Stars?

OK, so I probably can't call it Rush poker, but it seems that Stars are working on getting together a beta test for what they call 'fast-moving cash games'. No time line has been set yet, but beta testing should be going before the end of the year and hopefully we can have some rush style poker back.

Yep, I've heard that too. But it's not scheduled to be available until next year from what I heard.

Fast moving cash games? I only played rush once but thought it was in a tournament. Maybe I was drunk and it was cash???

But I never saw the attraction of rush. I know a lot of people love it but it just didnt appeal to me...

FTP had Rush tournies as well, but it started out as cash. If you're a cash grinder, it defo increases your hourly, if you can adjust correctly.

Sure will make it a lot easier, especially if MT'ing different stakes.

+1, although I hate pokerstars too so I guess it doesn't matter much.

I just hope the Rush type format doesn't start taking over other sites. For a while at FT all my favorite MTTs were suddenly turned in to Rush games. I was not a fan of the trend.

I guess I'm in the minority here in loving Rush. I'm sure as soon as this comes out (if it does) CCers here could make a ton of $$$ because it's a new game and it takes a while for the average player to adjust.

Mostly for rush the strategy is to fold, lol.

I played rush a couple of times and I hated it! 4 fast tables is already fast enough for me

Love the concept of it, loved it on FTP as well. Just suits when you have half an hour to play, no table selection, no wait-lists, just sit in and play.

Hate the way that it gradually turned fish into mega-nits though.

I liked rush. Played about 50% of my volume playing rush in 2011 on FTP. Cant wait till it happens on Stars.

If you like rush poker check out pokertubes speed poker its a great room, ive never been happier in my 1 whole year of playing poker.

It would be great if they offer this option, but if FT come back, I would prefer playing their rush poker. Omaha rush poker is my favorite game.

A fast moving ring-games product is indeed in development, with beta-testing tentatively scheduled to begin in a few months.

They are going to call it Zoom poker, and it will be launched at the end of February or the beginning of March.
