Rules with 2 accounts on 1 site? I've heard that you can't have more than account on Stars, but whilst playing, in the chat box some people say they have 1 account for cash games and antoher for tourneys? I was thinking of doing the same but heard you can only have 1 account, is this right? If so, how do people @ pokerstars have more than 1 account?

I was thinking of treating my bankrolls separately for cash and tourneys. I follow a rule of, no more than 5% of bank roll for cash games and 50 buy-ins for sng's and 100 buy-ins for MTT. I'm really trying to track my play and thought it may be better to treat the accounts speratly casue i treat my cash requirments differently, but i suppose that would mean 3 accounts so it could get messy. I did like the idea though of different accounts for different types of games

well there are guys that have multiple account for tourneys to enlarge their changes to cash big - also seen such a "drama" on the pro's on FullTilt and was really funny to see that such pro's make such stupid mistakes it is just one acc per person allowed and usually they take their husband or any other family member for another account so if they are playin in the same event and they are colluding, they will most surely caught, at first they got the complete history saved on the sites and also check the IP as for you, you dont need 2 accounts, stick to sessions with cashgame and when u get bored just play sit n go - easy way to find out where u make more cash and for each session u can track ur results - there are a few converting tools like pokertracker etc so u dont even need to make notes urself, the program will do that for you

And they might even keep your money, which is an absolute disgrace imo. |

re: Rules with 2 accounts on 1 site? poker i heard someone did it by formatting their hard disk and installing pokerstars again... i never tried it so there's no guarantee you can have two accounts on one pc. its a big risk and you might just lose everything you have on your account for not following the rules... your call.

2 acc Dont try it if you ever want to cashout!.plus lose your existing account.Pokerstars will allow 2 accounts in certain conditions from the same computer(ip),like if there are 2 pokerplayers in the home. But you must email pokerstars and give them all the info, which they will check up on.Then if its legit, will approve 2 accounts from 1 home puter. You will get banned if you are caught using 2 accounts and you are one person, play by the rules people!...this is true on every poker site,if you do not let them know up front.
