royal vegas

i'd like to find out what everyone here thinks of royal vegas? have been playing there for a while with the $10 free and built up a nice bankroll. they seem ok, but i'd like to find out if i should stay there or not? what are their cashout policies and other promos like?

PartyParty Poker is probably the best known online poker room. Use the Party Poker bonus code CC150 for a 30% upto $150 deposit bonus.

Absolute PokerAbsolute Poker Referral Code CCHAT will get you a 100% upto $500 bonus at AbsolutePoker.com.

Well to cash out you will need to either deposit or wait forever and a day for a check! I am not a big fan of their promos but they are ok top 10 poker room! The simplest and probably the best way to cash out is make a Neteller deposit clear the bonus you will get for making your first deposit, then simply withdraw to Neteller. Now if you expect to cash out without making a deposit you will have to be sent a check costs you money and can be a MAJOR hassel! So if you are going to be playing real money poker online best to get a Neteller account up and running! Good Luck!

It's a great site, i made like 150$ in 1½-2 weeks.
But the deposit part is not the best I can tell you, since I live in sweden and
they didnt take my card I had to go with the check.. Was kinda annoying..
My advice is to cash out and cash in somewhere else.

I'm at a university and all my mates and I jumped on it for the free ten bucks from the computer labs and they shut up down because it's the same IP apparently. My mate deposited 100 bucks so they is a little bit of an argument going on between RVP and him.

Nice website, I like how you can change the table size, the non-requirement freeroll is a bloody huge thing though.

Pokergurl...if your winning there stay there atleast until your luck changes, you haven't put in any money in there yet so your not gonna lose anything. I wouldn't want you to build a bankroll there and then take it to another site only to have totally different luck there and lose it. Royal vegas is a pretty good site, I think its part of the prima poker network, which is in the top 8 sites in North America, so you should be good there.

This should answer your questions
Royal Vegas Review
FEEDBACK WANTED!

Royal Vegas
Summary
7.6/10
General Information: Royal Vegas is a Prima Network Skin, they share the same players. Royal Vegas is one of if not the largest Prima "skins". Royal Vegas Poker is an established, well-respected and trusted online poker room. It is a member of the Fortune Lounge Group, one of the oldest and largest online casino groups. Licensed by Kahnawake Gaming Commision.
Detailed Review
Software and Graphics: The software just recently went through a pretty big change. I will happily call it an upgrade to the room navigation part. Much easier to sort through the games. The navigation, on the left of the lobby, is very close to the way Party Poker has theirs. The overall graphics still need an upgrade but the navigation change was a very good idea! All relevant stats including flop percentages displayed. This is important, you need to keep your DirectX and java components upto date for their software to run properly. The software looks and is easier to use IMHO in the DirectX mode. The time given a player in ring games seems a little shorter than other rooms. Something that some people are concerned about is the "microgaming" registry value that spyware programs find and do not like. I have looked into it and this is of minimal concern, I will not say NO concern because that would be above my pay grade, as the file is not supposed to collect internet usage information. Microgaming has other files that are spyware/malware which will give you annoying pop-ups though these files do not appear to come with the poker programs. Deleteing the cookie and registry value does nothing except make you type in your login information everytime you login.
Score: 7/10
Freerolls: Run 2 daily no raked hand requirement. Run 4 100 raked hand freerolls daily, good for getting a little money back if you had a losing night. They do run special freerolls quite often. The freerolls seem easier to place, than most other sites. Royal Vegas seems to run the largest freerolls independent of the other skins. The money you win is yours not bonus money.
Score: 8/10

Sit and Gos (SNG): Good selection of games, limits, and types. Several below $5 buy-ins. Most are in "turbo" format, I would like to see more lower buy-in non turbo SNG's. Not much wait time during peak hours even off peak hours aren't much of a problem to get a game. Buyin range from$ 0.75 upto $550
Score: 7/10

Competition: I have read elsewhere online that the Prima sites have very "juicy" or loose games. There are some loose games, but overall my experience is the players tend to play passively. You generally won't suffer as many bad starting hands beating you, simply because most of the players don't play junk. So you can actually get away with many more bluffs and semi-bluffs as compared to other sites, these skills are actually necessary to be a winning player here in my opinion. The players are different than most other online rooms, a matter of opinion if they are actually better or not. Again this is from my personal experience other information available says they have some of the juicer games around.
Score: 6/10
Traffic: Good ring game traffic. The tournament traffic could be a little better but still adequate
Score: 6/10

Tournaments: My personal favorite place to play tournaments. They have good variety and the structure is good. This alone does not set them apart what does is the traffic. The tournaments don't have a huge number of entries usually just enough to have a good payout and a good chance to place. Sometimes a tournament will get canceled due to not enough entries, happens in the larger buy-in tourneys.
Score: 6/10 Just a few more players is all they need! Why average score? Most players like more players which means higher payouts.

Deposit: Minimum deposit $20. Credit Card, FirePay, Neteller, Citadell, and Click2Pay. They cover the transfer fees associated with the online wallets.
Score : 10/10

Withdraw: : Minimum $10. Cash out to credit card only against prior purchases made, remaining balance is paid out via various NETeller, FirePay, Prepaid ATM, etc, and check. Neteller withdraws hit in 24-48 hours if not faster, very good speed. Could not find how long it takes checks to reach you but probably 3 weeks or more.
Score: 9/10 Very Good Feel Secure have personally transferred money.

Promotions: Royal Vegas has very good promotions mostly freeroll related. With an average first deposit bonus. The famous $10 no deposit. They do email rakeback and reload bonus offers more often than other rooms. The intial deposit bonus is of average difficulty to clear.
Score: 8/10

Support: Live chat, phone and email. Good response times from email.
Score : 9/10

Conclusion:

Royal Vegas is an overall good poker room in my opinion. The software could use some work to the graphics kudos for the nav upgrade though! Tweaks to the SNG's and a few more tournament players would put them up there with the best. Probably the one main reason a lot of players would like to play here is the players don't "suck out" quite as often as other rooms. In my experience the players really were different than say Party Poker.

its more than 7 sites, its all the sites from the prima poker network

its the largest network if you go from the number of host sites, party poker still the biggest in terms of users though

Yeah i've been there for probably over 6 months. The review that was posted above said the min withdrawal was $10, but its actually $30. I play a lot on Crazy Poker now also.

If I am not mistaken, Prima network has at least a dozen different sites connected to it. Maybe even be 2 dozen by now.

That is why they have so many players online at all times through the day.

Not my favorite - don't care for the software that much, but its better than others. Clear as mud, right? LOL

I got there $10 and blew pretty fast. I was worried about getting money out if I didn't.

Okay, I just downloaded Royal Vegas because I thought the free $10 promo sounded pretty cool. But I don't like their software AT ALL. I admit that my experience in online poker is limited to Absolute and Pacific, but I love their software compare to Royal Vegas. It isn't nearly as user friendly and clear cut.

I have the $10 at Royal Vegas. But, I have yet to touch it. Had a bad experience at Crazy Poker where I was constantly getting rivered on the 5/10 cent game by people who had 3 to a flush or straight on on the flop but kept calling my bets.

I am down 85 cents there. I will try again another time. Maybe the competition will get good enough not to serve the constant suckouts I had there.

So Royal Vegas money will sit there and do nothing.

Royal Vegas isnt a bad site but with my past experiences it has been....I joined due to the 10$ promo and in about 3 hours of 1v1 I made about $350 so I decieded to cash out, and thats where the problems came...I first had to make a deposit, then talk to a support person, then wait for the deposit, then send out my money to my account and it ended up taking 7 days! So I would say about 5.5/10 due to the withdrawl process

i'm sure that not all the withdrawals take that long. probably happened because it was your 1st deposit.

Like anywhere, trying to withdraw "free" money will always be a hassle. The only reason poker sites give away free money is to entice you to the tables. I have NEVER had a problem making a withdrawl from any site for 2 reasons:

1. I make a deposit
2. I use Neteller

RammerJammer has a great post on the forum regarding withdrawl of free funds, I suggest everyone read this as it really explains the situation...
