Which room to deposit on ? I have an account with partypoker but lately I noticed that I'm often against the same exact player, even at the lowest limit (NL4) and the games are becoming almost rare. Lately, I got a nice amount of cash and I'm thinking about changing room, now my question is, should I deposit on Fulltilt or Pokerstars ? I just want to add that I'm from Canada and that I signed a year ago with a sponsor for a 27% rakeback with FTP, however, the fidelity program on pokerstars looks better, at least to me. TIA, ARU

out of the two choices, I would have to go with full tilt, I didnt care much for pokerstars even though a couple people i know love the site. You could aways play some games on each site then decide which you like better and make your deposit after you see which you like better. GL wherever you deposit!

You should play in some freerolls or hit up the play money tables for a bit and see which interface you like better. I like FT better, because the rakeback I get far outweighs the VIP promotions that pokerstars offers. If you're playing at 4NL i'm not sure that rakeback really matters, but then again I don't know if you'll be able to qualify for any of the pokerstars VIP stuff either? Oh and 1 more thing to check, most rakeback sites require that you rake in a certain amount of money within your first 30-60 days in order to keep your rakeback account tagged to the site. I haven't really looked into this at all, but its something you might want to check on before you just assume that you have FT rakeback. *EDIT* If you're depositing a decent chunk of change and haven't deposited on FT before I would DEFINATELY deposit on FT and clear the bonus....and then if you don't like to FT cash out and take that money over to PS. PS doesn't offer (that I know of) any deposit bonuses while FT offers 100% up to $600. *Disclaimer* I've never deposited money on PS, so I'm biased.

The rake on Tilt is worth its weight in gold. Break even and you'll still be in profit...if you get what I mean! Both Full Tilt and Stars offer a 100% clearing bonus, Tilt's is up to $600 and Stars is up to $50. So why not deposit on both? You dont mention how much your depositing, but if its $100+ then stick $50 into pokerstars so you've got a change of scenery whenever you fancy, and the rest in Tilt as maybe your main site? Both sites offer great Satellites for the huge tournaments fr really low stakes, so why not have a look at both? Cant hurt! Good luck. Oh, also you say your switching sites 'coz you end up playing the same people all the time on Party Poker...how is that a bad thing?? I love sitting down to a table with half a dozen guys i have 2 pages of notes on! EEEZY money. lol Last edited by kevkojak : 28th April 2009 at 10:51 AM. Reason: addition

Despite all the suggestions for Full Tilt, I would choose pokerstars for a few reasons: 1. the rake is much better for lower limits at Pokerstars. Even with the rakeback you would still be getting destroyed by the rake on big hands 2. the traffic is good at both places, but Pokerstars has a more people and the games are fairly easy there 3. most importantly the support at Pokerstars is worlds better. Full Tilt only has e-mail responses and they usually take 10+ hrs to respond. Stars will have e-mail responses in a matter of minutes just something to think about

I finally deposited on a room, however that wasn't FTP nor PS... Thanks to a friend I moved a part of my bankroll (about 160$ on around 300$) to pacific poker... the bonus is mostly impossible to unlock at my level of play (NL10) but the table are so lose, it's almost scary... some guys are going all-in with high card ace ... however... the bad beats are just as scary but bad beats are good right ? Thank you all for your advices however, as soon as I'll have raised my bankroll to 600, I'll take full advantage of FT and it's rakeback and I'll prolly try to get the bonus on PS too, just to see.

I prefer pokerstars for tournaments and full tilt for cash play.So if your a cash player go with tilt.If youre a tourny player go with stars.I would suggest you look at cake too.I its very soft, as it gets cross over action from a sports book, and has rakeback through many rakeback sites and a huge $200% deposit bonus plus low entries to its guaranteed tournies.

![]() FT is my n1, so i may be biased either way PS is quite good too. If your depositing for the very first time, go to Full Tilt Poker, their bonus is quite good imo |
