Ring or Sit-n-go? Looking for some help here please. I am trying to build a bankroll out of my measly $50 deposit. Is it easier to win at the sit-n-gos or the ring games? I enjoy the sit-n-gos online and with my buddies but I would like to build my bankroll by playing tight-aggresive poker.

re: Ring or Sit-n-go? poker I believe it depends on your style of play. If you're tight numbers type player, the "Limit" ring games would probably be best. If you're more of a situation and people type player then the SNGs would probably be best. I believe that the "No limit" ring games are the highest risk. You can make a lot on a table very quickly, but you can lose a lot quickly also.

I agree with that. You can play extremely more tight-aggressively at a ring game where you can see 5% of hands if you want to, versus a tournament where winning requires loosening up a bit at points if you want to defend your ever-increasing blinds!

But it's also easy to lose all your money. Sit'n'go it is the safe mode. But first: Learn poker! |

What stats should I be looking for to make a table a GOOD table? avg pot? players seeing the flop? hands per hour? How many BB per hour should I target? I know it should be as high as possible but how many make a good session?
