Ring and MTT player - ideas for Pokerstars

Had some ideas, sent them to Pokerstars.

- Separate notes for cash and MTT tables I play ring (200nl) and MTTs ($22-$215) and I take a lot of notes. A problem arises when I encounter the same player in both formats as I’m not sure which the notes refer to.

This can lead to nasty situations. For example, if I make a note on someone saying they “shove JJ in early position” in a tournament, then encounter them in a ring game and treat them accordingly. For some regulars I note “mtt” or “ring” but it’s cumbersome and I make mistakes J

- Option to put bankroll in separate “sub-roll” Far harder to implement but I’m sure a great asset to many players would be the ability to notionally sub-divide my bankroll into sections. In my case it would be great to be able to separate a ring and MTT roll. This would help with bankroll management and allow people to track how they are doing a lot easier.

In my case I’m trying to manage a single roll while enjoying the variance of both 200nl and decent buyin MTTs. It’s unusual to have both on the up at the same time and it would be good to manage the money separately (with the option to move funds between the two). Funds won from a format (MTT, SnG, Ring) would be automatically put in an allocated sub-roll.

A swine to implement, but worth asking.

Both very good ideas. I especially like the "sub-roll" line..I think we could all use it in some form, for the various games we play. Let us know when they write back!
