Report on King Solomons

Folks, been playing on this site for about a month and I seriously recommend you DL and deposit. The free $100 bonus is very easy to clear and the tables are very loose. When Titan first came up, their bonus was very attainable but not too much later they raised the requirements to clear it by a factor of 10. Just a word to the wise, but I'd really take advantage of the free $100 they offer as I cleared it in 10 days and I really don't play that much. Also, I haven't really played much hold'em there as I've played stud and draw almost exclusively. I know Dorkus has done OK at the Omaha tables and says that they are very loose as well... Here's the link:

Hey Dave, nice job clearing the bonus. What limits were you playing?

I usually play the .25/.50 stud tables and the .50/1.00 or 1/2 draw tables. To clear the free hundred you need 1000 raked hands - no minimum limits...

Wanted to drum up some interest in this site as it's an easy bonus to clear. I have no doubt that they'll pull a Titan soon and change the requirements for the worse. In the month I've played there I have deposited $80, cashed out $150, and still have $120 on site. Easy money folks but I guess there isn't much interest...

Thanks for the reminder, Dave! I've been meaning to download this site... just haven't gotten around to it yet but sounds like it would be best to do it sooner rather than later.

the .25/.50 tables are brutal they will play anything from what ive seen. try the 5 card draw or the NL tables they seem to be a little better.

Thanks very much, trentonlf! I'll try some different ones... if I have enough money left. Had to bail on an SNG there earlier today, too, when dinner was ready.

Haven't played 5 card draw in decades!

OK, I changed things up a bit and played the .5/.10 pot limit hold 'em games and won back just about the same amount I lost at the .25/.50 limit tables. That will be an easier way to make the raked hands requirement. Also won an SNG that more than made up for the one I ditched in favor of dinner.

Happy now.

I can't find a way to take notes on players, though. Is that feature missing, or am I just overlooking it?

The software is very limited in that notes and stats are absent. The room manager is expecting these features to be added with the next update. While this is a very loose site take care as you will experience a lot of suckouts as people WILL play anything...

I was thinking about making a deposit here and I checked the raked hand requirement and it says it has to be at the $1/$2 tables, is this incorrect?

Thanks for the heads-up Dave, I have been playing around on KSP for a couple of days now. I have been playing the low buyin ring games, working on clearing the bonus & have been making a small but steady profit even though I don't care much for ring games. Tried several SNG's & finally late last night managed to play a 10 seater badly enough to finish out of the money {4th}, went allin with a marginal hand when I was not the shortstack. One of the drawbacks to playing against this level of competition is that you can forget that they are unskilled & start to think that you are good instead of just playing solid poker & taking your profits. Ego can be expensive.

Thx Dave

For the heads up, thinking of using my $500 bankroll to get bonuses from other sites, does this work well to grow your bankroll?

On clearing them bonuses some sites make it way too hard, adding this detail to site reviews would help alot or justed tips about how to clear them funds.

Hey Paul if you read the fist post I believe that Dave makes a mention of a $100 bonus that was easy to clear.

I'm just not down on the getting mail from these people,
never leave a papertrail they say.
keep it digital and I'd be in.
I don't want my name on any list , period.

I wonder if I could get around it, by special e-mail or something?
Anyone got their contact or support e-mail handy?

I have absolutely no clue what you're trying to say here. Download thru the forum link and if you deposit you get the free $100...

He's on about the security code they mail upon deposit I think. I don't see why it should be such a big deal and I seem to remember it saying somewhere that they won't send the codes electronically - it has to be via snail mail (dunno why).

I may be a little dim here - deny it, go on please

How can you see how close to clearing the hands you are on the site?

At least you dont have to make many notes - opposition = fish - nice

Ok. I downloaded last night, and I have to say, I have never been more irritated than I am right now (when it comes to playing poker). The site is lovely. Nice interface, pretty slick looking. Great. Now here's my gripe: THIS SITE IS FULL OF THE STUPIDEST, DENSEST, MOST CLUELESS SUCK-OUTS I HAVE EVER SEEN! Not only was I completely card dead, but kept losing good starting hands to things like 9/3os, j/3, etc. Insane I tell ya! INSANE! I hope I have better luck at the freeroll, cuz I am not depositing another dime until I can actually win a SNG there.

Juicee, be aware that a fish tank can be very dangerous if they start to catch. Folks here will pay to see a flop regardless of their cards - so play tight. I really only play stud and draw here but I've seen the hold'em tables and to call them loose is an understatement...
