First allow me to apologize for the delay in responding to your report. This particular case was quite
involved and more time than usual was required for the review.

We have concluded that the play of 'evildeaderic' and 'ReeseKup27' violated the integrity of our
games. They have been informed that they are no longer welcome to play on our site. Their funds have
been used to credit players affected by their wrong-doing. As you cashed in the event in which you
played with them, unfortunately you have not received such a credit.

The integrity of the games at PokerStars is of paramount importance to us and we will not abide unfair
play in our games. We work hard to police our games to assure our players of a fair, secure place to
play. In the rare cases where collusion has actually occurred, we make sure that any players affected
are compensated appropriately.

Nicely done. I wish there was a "blackball" list that was shared between sites, so that the cheaters can't just move shop. At least PS is now a little safer.

Dont be so naive, they will most likely just open another account in a name of someone close to them that they can trust, scammers are good at what they do, but it sounds like these 2 may be more stupid than the average scammer.

They would need a proxy since there IP is probably blocked now not to mention all the hazzle it would take for them to cash out seeing as PS has started to implament changes witch requiers ALL players to send them a copy of there ID along with electric bill as verification of there idendity...

Heh, I got one of those letters (slightly different) from Pokerstars today. It was about a chipdump I reported a couple weeks ago, but after review PS deemed that it was more ignorant than malicious and they were only blocked from playing with each other again. I was also given small compensation that covered my minimal loss, which I wasn't expecting (had only played a few hands).

When I used to play Diablo 2..LOL... they would block ip addys for changing servers too quik/often for anywhere from 1-24 hours...and there where ways around it...ie mac addrress change programs..and some peole can change there ip as easily as unplugging there modem and waiting 5 minutes and replugging it..like static ip or something..so I am sure true scammers have there ways, and prolly never use their real names anyway... but hopefully the sites will get smarter and smarter, and us fair players willl just report anything fishy..I'd like to think a poker site would have better security than a gaming site anyways. And I'm sure the cashing out part with the new id verification will prolly help ALOT.

Detecting and reporting such play takes time and effort ... glad you felt it was worthwhile to report scumbag players ...

Nice job!! It's always nice to catch cheaters. Side note about IP address-It all depends on how you are hooked up to the internet-I use a aircard and my IP address changes alot.

Yes you are right, but what if the cheaters use proxies most of the time, which is again normal and expected from them. Anyways the good part of the story is, they are barred from access right now.

Whether they get back on or not isn't the point. Make them go through the trouble of finding a new account,IP, and bank to go through. Nice catch.
