| Rakeback is basically just that! When you play cash games and you are involved in a pot that is "raked" by the poker room, you may qualify for some kind of rakeback. Most hands are raked these days but check the terms and conditions bcause sometimes you must play at certain limits to qualify. If the site manages to offer you, say, 20% rakeback, then you will receive 20% of the rake the site took from you during a certain period of time. If you play a lot of cash games, then it can work out to a nice sum at the end of the month Hopefully this makes sense |

| The thing is that I'm pretty sure most, if not all, rakeback systems require that you sign up for the poker site through their page. The whole reason they're able to give rakeback is because they get money for referrals. Check out raketherake.com. It's pretty cool. I signed up for Absolute through them and I get 28% rakeback. After this month I'll have made around $50 through it, and my roll is only around $450 so that's some pretty good free money for me. |
