Race to the Main Event at Full Tilt

Hey Everyone,

Tomorrow March 9, Full Tilt will begin their freeroll tournaments to the "Race to the Main Event".

This is a great way for you average joe to play and win a sit at this years World Series of Poker Main Event.

Lasted like 10 minutes in Round 1

Ohh wow..Had no idea they would have one of these tournaments..
How do you find them?
Under play chip tournaments in the freeroll section like where you find satellite to the ferguson

Oh boy...there are some donkeys at those tables today. I've played in 3 or 4 already and u should see these tables. At least 3 players are all in every hand.

Yea its an allin donkfest at the beginning. They run a game every 5 min. it seems. Im on final table where 225 max players and top 2 advance to round2.

They ran these last year as well. If you manage to register, sit out the first orbit of blinds. If you do that at least 1/4 of the field will be gone. Then you can settle in and play poker.

I won a round1 for round2 seat It was very easy when 5 players left and I had a 5 to1 chip lead to rest of players.

They are under the play money SnG's.

Thanks for the heads up OP. This is a great way for us folks without 10k to spare to get into one of poker's greatest tournaments. I will take advantage of this opportunity and whoever else has always wanted to enter the WSOP should also take advantage of this. Keep learning good poker and good luck all.

Hey guys, I placed in a Rnd 1 game yesterday and I see the registration for the 2nd Rnd but can't register even though others have. Any ideas why or how? Thanks

ya i played a lot of them last year, sometimes it's so frustrating trying to get in.

o yes. but there are only 300 players or so who play with you in one tournament.

they are the top top two shown in picture if use custom tab.
This first qualifier is starting every 4 minutes
one is .com other .net, difference being 250 player field and other one 450 player field they
start a minute apart from each other.

Your first and most exciting option is to play in the Main Event which takes place in Las Vegas in July. This is the single largest tournament in the world, and if you choose to play, our Events Department will provide you with instructions on withdrawing your winnings. I also read on their rules that if you win more then one round 2 ticket you can exchange these for ironman points.

played in a few already total donkfest but thats what happens when only 2 or 1 move on so you better be ready to push and push all in anytime u make a bet kinda like a kamakaze tourney all in or go home but heck some ones got to win it !

yea they aint soft like a good forum games, thats for sure. But when you make your move or call someone elses move, only the winning hand will win, so play your game.

I think i will give the tournaments up because it is too much work and only a small group of players get a buy in for this tournament (WSOP 2009)

we all have to work for things we want same way in poker nothing will ever be handed too you there are no SILVER SPOONS in poker u play well or u watch some one else win. always keep your eye on the prize.

o yes u are right but when u play a tournament to come into the next round then u can easily loose when u have a bad beat

By the time I see it, click on it, it's FULL

To get in you gotta click FAST!! watch the clock and about 15 seconds after the start time hits the clock click like there's no tomorrow. You can find them in the sit n go list under freeroll-just look for the game with 255 spots on it. There's also another one for the same tourney but theres 450 spots and only the 1st moves on,which doesn't make sense to me. Beat more players and no 2nd place? As for the all in fest, I don't play the first 10-15 hands. That lets the donks knock each other out. You have 1200-1400 chips depending on how many blinds you gotta pay, but its not worth raising with A Q when more than likely there's gonna be 5 all ins behind you. I only play if I get pocket kings or aces. I resolved to stop playing cash games and tournaments for now and just focus on the freeroll. I started last night and placed 4th and 6th, with quite a few in the 30s.

my goal for the 'Race' is to register atleast once
forget about getting to Round 2, if I get pass
the registration part then that's major accomplishment

it's very hard to join tournament with 225 players, i'll don't want to spend alot of time for playing with 450 player( only 1st)

Another question about these. What is the thought behind 2 players advancing in the 225 tourney and only 1 in the 450? They're both turbos...I just don't get it.

I have chosen to Sprint. I have 4 tickets to the finals, but the finals are only offered once a week on Sunday afternoons. I actually didn't even know I had the tickets until the other day when I checked. Aparrently I've gotten 3,000 FTPs a week over the last 4 weeks and therefore have gotten 4 entries.

My guess is that the .COM tourneys (225 players) show up on your screen if you have a real money acct at FT. The .NET is the play money side that's advertised on TV.
