PS chat ban

IMO, PS cares more about banning ur chat ( when you really said nuttin offensive ) than obvious collusion, what would you think when u get reraised, reriased, reraised then all fold? I respnded to my email. " maybe you should police ur site instead of insta chat bans".

Keep records of all names that you see doing this. If there is a pattern it is worth reporting.

Did you bypass the censoring that they do with asterix's, I wouldn't care too much about the chat side of things, like kmixer said take note of the names and if it keeps on happening present a case to Stars so that they can investigate it.

It would seem if this is happening than maybe PS and all sites (and I know many folks will disagree with this) If the SNG's or Cash games or even low entry MTT's, only let the same people enter together a certain amount of times and then if they try to all enter the same SNGS or cash games, when they enter the room have it automatically move them to another room so they arent playing together, if the player start complaining about this then it would be safe to assume that you are correct and something isnt right because it shouldnt matter who is playing at room you choose.

Its hard enough learning the game straight up then people waiting to beat the system

I once got chat banned on FT just for telling someone who was using all of their time every turn: "This guy is slower than a fat Austrian on sunday!"

Maybe thats a little offensive to overweight Austrians, but it was obviously just an attempt at humor.

As for collusion, I'm sure it is very hard for the sites to indentify and keep track of. It is our duty as players to aid the site in identifying it so they can then observe, collect evidence, and take action.

Yep, best to report any suspected collusion. As for chat, I tend to switch it off unless I know the people I'm playing with - then banter can be good. Otherwise, it's just a distraction and one stupid comment can throw you off your game.

I think FT's chat is not moderated by a human. If you keep typing the same thing over and over you get temp banned.

Well that is the spam temp ban. My chat privileges were banned for 30 days, and had to send them an email after than 30 days to get chat turned back on. This was way back in early '09.

I dont think you understand collusion tbh. This is not the first time you posted about it (i think it was about cc players the other time). Just because in 1 or 2 hands somebody 3 or 4 bet folds does not mean something is going on. It could just mean that they have history on the other opponent etc.

I've never had my chat banned on PS...Yet then again I don't really say much on any site period...(Unless someone says something first)....

Interesting, I played 2 tables with a $100 buy in $1-$2 pot linit O8 tonight and my chat was allowed. So much for the 4 day ban.????? perhaps if u generate rake, you can do what the hell u like???

So they didn't want the cat outta the bag, go figure. I'm guessing there are many strings that are auto-flagged, like phu, $h, azz and collu - then a mod comes to assess the severity of the infraction. I've seen it happen many times, and find it hard to imagine that any mod was already watching a freeroll donkfest table. So did you get the ban notice right there at the table?

Guess the next logical step would be to start offering cuss privileges as rewards for depositing or racking up FTP/FPPs. Maybe even a 'FU' badge. But I think UB would be the first to entertain this.
