Prima Poker

OK guys I need a response from somebody in the know. Used to be you could only have one account on one Prima network skin. I know this because I tried to setup multiple accounts and it wouldn't let me this was about 6 months ago. I have an account at Royal Vegas and today it let me sign up for Poker333. Has Prima changed their policy? I have a feeling my Poker333 account will get locked but if someone knows if they have changed their policy pleasse let me know.

Um as far as I am aware you have always been able to have accounts at ALL the prima skins, you just have to put in the original activation code you got when you made the first one.

That will then let you use the same screen name on all the different skins. The restriction regarding only one skin was a deposit bonus and you could only get one deposit bonus on one of the skins. Not sure if that still applies or not though.

Well that appears to be the way it is now. 333 wanted my activation code and no trouble getting an account. I just remember I had set up an account at Royal Vegas and deleted the software and tried to set up an account at BetonUSA and it would not let me have an account there because I already had an account at one of the other Prima sites. SO now that I have the money from that freeroll going to get credited to 333 at SOME POINT! just want to make sure that they won't lock or freeze my account cause I have played previous on Royal Vegas. Previous experience is why I am trying to make sure everything is clear

Hi xdmanx007

Congrats on winning the tourney! Just to appologise for the payment issue. We used the new facility in our software to setup the tourney and it didn't work out as planned. We didn't have the results of the players and where they ended up. Added to that we expected the payments to be automated and that wasn't the case either! Anyways I hope you are at least happy with the situation.

To answer your question! You can have as many Prima accounts as you like. There is just a very important rule! NO MULTIPLE ALIASES across the network and Don't open multiple accounts at the same Room! Also added to that you will not be able to open more than one Prima Room at a time.

If anybody else had a problem with regards, to the Freeroll please PM me your details!

Regards, Roelof

Regarding mulitiple accounts????

Hi all,
I just wanted to ask why would you let players have an account at all the different prima poker sites? Also wouldn't this mean that the same player could sign up for the same tournament at all the different sites?
Just one other question, I did download another prima poker skin and when I tried to create an account I got the message to put in my original activation code, trouble is I didn't have it anymore, how can I get that original activation code again?
Oops last question, promise. If I can have an account at all the prima poker sites does that mean that I can get all the different bonuses? If so would that be considered "a bonus abuser" ?
Thanks in advance for your help.

You will get SOME bonuses and some you won't. As long as you have the same alias you can't play against yourself. I just clicked the forgot activation code and it gave it to me of course I entered all the same information as it was on my other Prima skin account. I suppose the final results will be when it is time to cash or deposit but I am comfortable the information given here by chatmaster is accurate and I don't forsee any problems although there are no sure things

Hi Tony

Thanks for asking these questions. I think when it comes to Prima it is better to understand how it works, I will try my best to answer your questions

Each Prima room although we operate on the same network and have the same software with different skin is run by different operators. That means that there are many differences in bonuses and customer service. But due to the fact that players can register at multiple poker rooms means more competition amongst the poker rooms and hopefully better service and promotions. It also means that Prima always have players and there is always a table to play at.

The same player cannot register for the same tourney for two reasons.
#1 You have 1 alias across all poker rooms so it will indicate that you already signed up.
#2 What is the benefit for the player? He cannot run different Prima Room software packages at the same time.

Prima is famous for it's fraud prevention and is without a doubt the safest poker room on the net. I do not advice anyone to take chances with them!!!

The first Prima room you registered at is the only one that can assist you. This is done for security reasons so it is required that you save all the information they sent you when you first registered. <Advice> I always create a folder in my poker folder on my home computer, there I save all the information of my poker accounts. I have a Prima folder, with 1st account folder in there, if I didn't I'll just go to the date 1st created and find the oldest file in my Prima folder.</end advice>

The fact is that you are playing online. To ensure that you have the ability to ensure good customer service you need to have your account numbers handy in a dispute. If the poker room screws up you also have the means to give them an hiding! Off course if your dispute is with a specific Poker room in Prima you will deal with them and not the first one you registered with. We as poker rooms are strictly speaking competitors and do not share information!

As I said before we are esentially competitors so bonuses and promotions are independently done. You can claim bonuses at the different Prima rooms and that shouldn't be a problem. However, some operators (if not all) do not like players that clearly play only Freerolls and only claim bonuses and play the exact amount of raked hands. That is a clear indication of abuse and some operators will at some stage just refuse to be abused. We have realised that No deposit bonuses are a kind of evil because essentially we as a poker room create a situation where we open ourselves for abuse by bonus hunters. These bonus hunters only exist because we create the situation for them to flourish in. So we as Poker333 end our No Deposit bonus the end of this month and replace it with a rewards system for depositing players. You need to understand that we as a poker room make our money out of the rake and are different from a casino in the sense that we do not make our money from players losses. That means that we need to acquire the best players as they have the longest life span and rake the most money for us bonus abusers means nothing to us and is a liability that we have to risk. The original idea with the No Deposit bonus was that we give players the oppertunity to try out our poker room without any risk. As we had a new brand and players were not aware of our poker room yet. It also gave us an opertunity to proof to the Online Poker Community that we had good intentions and are amongst the most reliable in the industry as these points are a requirements to be labled an trustworthy establishment. We are in it for the long run so it is important for us to deliver!

I hope that answers your questions!

Now there's a man in the know :)

Hi all,
Thankyou chatmaster for answering every question and then some, much appreciate it, I would like to point out that i'm not a bonus hunter/abuser, just wanted to say that in case people got the wrong impression by my asking that particular question.
Any idea why the prima poker network allows so many entrants for the $1,000 freerolls, 15,000 is a lot of players and i've seen as many as 5,000 get knocked out in the first 15 minutes, seems a little how shall i put it inappropriate for so many entrants to a freeroll. Those freerolls really are a lottery in that first hour, doesn't matter how good your cards are there will always be someone that calls you no matter what.

Regarding no deposit bonuses I don't like these myself as there always seems to be too many restrictions on them, I prefer the deposit bonuses like 100% match bonus, I think this is also a better way to get around the bonus abusers as most of them are after free money so they don't have to part with their own.
Well great posts and I thank you again, good luck

Tony ( The Webmaster )
