Power Poker Closed to U.S. Players?

I can log on to power and sit at a table, but if you go to their website and click download, you get a message:

"Sorry, we don't accept us players anymore. Please contact to customer service if you have any questions: support@powerpoker.org"

Yah there was an OFC on there awhile back. I won enough from the freeroll to play the buyin, went out in first level of buyin, never been back since! Can't imagine there was alot of players on there? Can US still transfer? or withdraw funds?

Being a skin, hard to know. I did hear that this is in the same situation of sportsbook and players only that they are only closing to new U.S. players because they aren't geared up to support a flood of new players.

Not sure that is exactly a valid concern.

I've never heard of Power Poker either. I do know that PokerWorld on Cake network dropped US players altogether as I was a player there. It sure seems like us US players are getting dropped from many online poker community's.

Power Poker is on the Cake Network and they have stopped accepting NEW US players. They will continue to accept players that had already signed up so if you already had an account you will still be able to login without problems.

FWIW, there are plenty of other skins on the Cake Network and other Networks altogether for those that tried to sign up at Power Poker.

I read some where that PP was closing and since I hadn't played there in a while I made a withdrawal. I had no problem getting my money.

I did get an email and Poker Poker is definitely closed to USA players so I don't know why I was able to login so that's another site I just can. One after another I like to thank the USA Feds for taking away something I enjoy doing like a lot of them are doing far worst then playing online poker. This country has it's priorities all screwed up.

It's really not a big deal in this case since there are plenty of other Cake Network skins that you can sign up too that are probably better anyway. The Cake skins that do not use the Cake Cashier are the best options IMO.

I can still play at at Cake poker and Intertops which is part of the cake network now and if anyone is having probs maybe because you're a new member trying to join like Merge. I been members of cake and intertops for awhile. samthing as many merge sites i can play and newbies can't that's the deal. CH.

Just to make sure everyone is clear on it. I played as a US player last night on Power. They are simply not accepting new US players.

I also play at Cake and Intertops. They accept new signups.

Power poker must be a low key site because this is the first I heard of it. Power is not even rank.

It's the site Ziigmund reps. I used to play on it a lot... haven't in a while though.
