pot limit HORSE tourney

Is it possible to have a pot limit HORSE tourney and would anyone be intrerested? If full tilt has the software to do it , i would put up money for a freeroll myself just to see how it plays out. Does anyone know if it is possible to play any of the stud games pot limit on any big sites?

Don't know of any site that does ... and wouldn't play it if they did.

Razz, stud and stud8 are not PL and/or NL games. All it would do is turn them into lotto/bingo-fests. Our casino here tried it twice last year for a variety MTT. I say 'twice' ... since it was the first time ... and the last time.

If you want lotto games, stick with PL and NL Holdem and Omahaha.

How can you say NL holdem is a lotto game? What do you only like limit games? It is called gambling not surethingling right?

I don't think anyone has ever played PL HORSE in their life. It's a game that would not mix at all. Stick to either PL Omaha or PL Holdem because the other games are not meant to be played PL.

I doubt that's an option anywhere. I think some sites have PL stud (?), and fulltilt did just have NL razz in its FTOPS, right? I just don't think they'd customize a private HORSE game for PL.

There is the Pokerstars 8game, which has 3 PL/NL games in freerolls, only 2 of them in buyins.

How about HORSE mixed limits.

H = NL
O = PL
R = Fixed
S = Fixed
E = PL or Fixed

I think it would be interesting just for the mix up factor. I enjoy playing 8 game on Pokerstars.

Oh, next Sunday the Pokerstars $5 buyin is 8game, and Saturday night there is a $3 8game we are using as practice for the guys/gals event. Come play kmixer, I'll repost the info for that one today.

Check a lot of the threads on Cardschat (and many other forums), many written or addressed by successful Cardschat players ... about gambling = poker. Those players would NEVER agree that they are 'gambling'. But .... all-in preflopper players .... ARE !!

Stud type games are never a 'surething' until you have the unbeatable nuts ... just like HE and O. Your OP just seemed to propose turning stud style games into all-in preflop games ... just to "see how it plays out". In a very high stakes game it might work ... but in a freeroll as you suggest, even PL is nothing more than a way to get more players into a 'pot committed' situation for huge preflop lotto plays... and THAT's how it would play out ...

I would have sworn the Full Tilt HORSE tournament used PL for the Omaha Hi/Lo section but I don't see any like that now. Full Tilt does have HA (holdem and Omaha HI) PL tournaments.
