How did yesterdays game go?

Well I was totally annihilated in the $1 buy-in, but came 4th in the play money one.

Today I am able to sign-up for them, unlike yesterday where PS support had to register me for them, so it looks as though they have sorted out the problems of some people not being able to register now.

Ok I just went and turned my playmoney from 650 to 2000 so Im playing the 1$ and the playmoney GL.

My wife wanted me to pick her up from her mate's house at 7:30, so I decided to just do the 7:45 play money one today.

Couldnt find these anywhere yesterday, i wrote to the support, they suggested turning off the 'hide regional tournies' option

Yes, I had the same problem, don't ever remember checking that option in the first place!

Out of Playmoney still in division 1 though. Damn I have to go make a few hundred thousand playchips tomorrow if I want to play these.

played the $1 and fpp both days so far- tongiht might be my last attempt

Got close to bubble in all 4 (best 15th in 1st fpp, but only 9 places paid), but have 2 points for taking part in both...

had a set beaten on river by gut shot in one, AA cracked by J8 in another, allin with A10 preflop called by Q6 to lose and best was allin with QQ preflop called by 48s who hit flush!!!

players in these would give bad freeroll players a worse name!!

Almost lost it when my AK allin preflop was called by JQ who hit st on river (after A on flop) in the $1...

Won the FPP tourny though so cant complain!!! (damn gonna have to play them all now)

Missed tonight due to the awsome Kaiser Chiefs, but will be back in the dollar game tomorrow, hope to see you all at the final table.

I have to say after the two of these I have played Im ashamed to be English, some of the most horrible name calling and no one can take a beat bad or good. Stars is rigged apparently and the best thing to do is take your winning out soon as possible, I knew we brits can have a chip on our shoulder but this sucks.

I played in the play money one, but was wiped out a bit unexpectedly. Had pocket aces on the button, one raiser in early position which I re-raised, SB re-re-raised, raiser called and I went all in. SB had JJ and EP raiser had Qh2h, flop was one heart, one spade, one club, but next two cards were hearts. So the Q2s took me out of the tourney.

In the EPT freeroll earlier I had a similar situation, more than an hour into the tourney. One limper, me on the button with 10 10 so I went all in, limper called me pre-flop with 76os, and the flop was 4, 5, 8!

is this tourney open to anyone in the UK and Ireland?

Yes. We both had problems with being told we weren't eligible initially, but a quick email to PS support quickly resolved that challenge. Also it should pop up in front of your face when you first log into PS, on the propaganda page that pops up.

No, must admit I haven't encountered the "lager lout" mentality so far at PS, although it was very prevalent when I played poker at WillHill and Ladbrokes, and it is embarrassing.

Yes, I only have 8 FPP, but I'm in the two other ones. Thought I signed up for the EPT freeroll too, but as it started at 6:15 maybe I didn't!

First 72 places paid in the EPT $1 buy-in, and I went out in 78th. Not my lucky day today!

Hope it wasnt me ranting!! (taken some bad, bad beats recently and have let rip at a few donkeys- sometimes its hard to take people hitting runner runners or 2 outs on the river continuously...)

Having no luck in the $1 tournys- havent cashed in one yet, so will probably give up tomorrow when someone sucks out on me!

Not doing too bad in the FPP version though, was in 3rd and managed to cash today, so should still be in top 10

Only got enough FPP for another 18 days though, so going to have to get playing... (anyone got any tips on the quickest way to earn 100-200 fpps? I usually stick to the $1.10 45 player sngs - should I play some cash games?)

Just went out of a FT $2 sng with AA vs AKs (allin preflop) and lost a big allin earlier when winning one of the $1 sngs with 1010 vs 55, so guess they're my beats for tonight!

How are you all doing in these?

Having a nightmare in the $1 tournys- managed to cash in 2 but cant get into top 10 (12th best finish lol!)

Think I'm leading the FPP league now though after winning 2 in a row (sry had to brag!)

BTW if you havent played the 10fpp to get into the UK $50k open- every night - great value ($11 buyin to the open)- 36 get entry and there's normally 200-300 players (compared to the $500 10fpp mtts- these have 10% of the players and almost the same prizepool!)

As I work 2pm-10pm and my two week holiday is over now () I will only be able to play on my rest days. Next one was due to be Tuesday, but was asked today if I could do overtime on Tuesday..
