Pokerstars tournie

I am playing in a freeroll in pokerstars. Greg Raymer, Chris Moneymaker and Joe Hachem are all playing in it. You advance to another tournie if you knock one of them out.

The chat on their tables is interesting. They are all making an effort to be friendly but there are idiots asking them for money and I am sure all of the chat is driving them crazy.

If you are bored it is worth a peek. I am currently 1643 of 4089 - long way to go. I hate freerolls lol.

Okay I am out - lasted longer than Raymer and Hachem. I got the dreaded AK suited which I hate worse than any hand. Thank God Tenbob wasn't watching - he would have my ass in a handbasket for not raising pre-flop. Which of course cost me the pot since I hit my flush on the turn, ending up all in and beat by a full house. I know, I know.......

Moneymaker is still in and doing quite well. I am just appalled at the observer chat - people asking him for money and being so rude. It is embarrassing really. He tried to be friendly at first but has given up talking at all. It is a shame for the people who are lucky enough to get on a table with him - but feel they can't talk to him. I have a feeling he would enjoy a normal game with normal chat between the players.

Thats the downside to having a site with 80,000+ players on at any given time.

I`d hope the site would take their names and ban some of these clowns. Why does online poker attract so many idiots ?

Wow - I am impressed! Pokerstars support just came to Moneymaker's table and said spamming amd begging must stop or chat privileges will be taken away. Some are dumb enough to be calling the support tech names - guess they will be first to go lol.

wow must have been fun to play in a tourney like that . they would probably play more on there if it weren't for the peanut gallery. ruins the game for the star players and the otheres who are merely enjoying a challenging poker game. i hope they do ban them

I can honestly say that I have never seen a group of people,whether in football,poker,billiards,or even the local knitting group that has as many IDIOTS as poker attracts!!...I think it is because everyone is hoping to play a freeroll and instantaneously turn it into a $$$$$$....Its the "something for nothing" mentality that permeates the online game...These people are truly NOBODIES with nothing else to do but troll the net looking for cheap games and hoping beyond hope that they'll be up $1 by the end of the day...JACKASSES! The players are getting ruder,nastier,and making most games online a miserable place to be...even forum games are clogged with idiots!...Can you imagine watching lets say,Brunson,Ivey,Negraneau,and any other pros sitting at a table talking the trash to each other and asking for money like these "online poker pros" do??????.....You're right,it IS embarrassing! Btw,sorry you went out Dakota...better luck in your next game!

They do it at our games too. i agree, you cant get much lower than cyberbegging, it's got to be kids that do it surely?

Well said Talk. I am seriously considering turning off my chat from now on when I play. Tired of all of the trash talking that happens too.

i played in that freeroll...all three champs played well but i was impressed with the way raymer interacted with all the railbirds...it was a shame he was knocked out 1st/
