Pokerstars Steps Special

Okay I just played two Pokerstars Steps Special 3 FPP NLHE hyper-turbo, my first two ever, and won them both. I have no idea how i got first in both of them, the tourneys start with 333 people, 500 chips each, and blind increases every 4 min, pretty much raw luck I guess. I just tried them because they were only 3 FPPs and thought I would donate some. Now I have two tickets to step one, and I don't know much about the whole step system, and I was wondering how I should use them. Thanks.

I played a couple of those today - they are wild lol.

Congrats on your wins. Really the only thing you can do with them is play in 2 step 1 sng's. Hopefully you will be able to advance. Once you get a step 4 ticket you can use it to play in one of their $215 tournaments like the Sunday warm-up or the Sunday million. Or you can keep tryng to advance.

The only way to use them is to play in Step 1 and work your way up. If you get to Step 4 you can enter the Sunday Million. There's no other way to use it.

Okay I think I'm going to try to get to step 4 and then try to get the tournament dollars. I wish all the step 1's were not turbos though.

Scratch that, I lost both step 1 tourneys. I was completely card dead in both, and since it was a turbo I had no chance. I wish I could have gotten some of the hands I was getting in the steps specials. Oh well back to the tables.

I found I had a ticket yesterday, and got in a step 1 game. I had no idea where that ticket came from.

Today, I find I have another ticket. I did nothing that I can think of to aim at earning that ticket.

Incidentally, I didn't know I had the ticket until I looked at the game and tried to register for a $7 +.50 step game. I had just won some larger amount and figured I'd splurge. Instead I was offered the ticket entry.

Anyone have a clue? I'm confused...

Any chance you did Steps for some other tourney series like EPT or SCOOP? They used to expire the Step tickets but then I believe they changed their rule on that. So maybe you had 1 or 2 left over from last year's WSOP steps?

Either that or do you have a wife/girlfriend/brother/cousin/uncle that sneaks onto your computer and wins you free tickets?
