| Pokerstars step tickets Okay, I played in the blogger freeroll yesterday and made it to the finals. Went out in 49th place. Supposedly according to their prize layout, you got nothing for 49th except entry to the finals, you had to get to 45th place to get a Step 2 ticket. I just happened to look at my tickets today and there's a Step 2 ticket in there now. I'm not really sure what a Step 2 ticket is but I am assuming it's probably worth $10 or so? No real idea. Anyway, should I play this ticket quickly before they decide they gave it to me in error? Where exactly do you play a Step ticket anyway? |

Ahhh, thanks for the message. So it's worth $27. Not bad I suppose. Did you ever go listen to GI Josephine? |

| re: Pokerstars step tickets The Poker Stars Steps SNGs are a tiered system to eventually for a larger high buy-in tournament. They can be founded listed under "Sit & Go", "Satellite", "Steps" in the Poker Stars main lobby. You can buy-in directly into any step, or buy-in into a lower step and try to progress through the system. The basic step system is: STEP 1 - $7.00+$.50 - HORSE, PLO, Limit HLE, PLO8, NLHE (turbo ony) - 9 handed 1st and 2nd - Step 2 ticket 3rd - Step 1 ticket 4th - $1.50 STEP 2 - $25.00+$2.00 - HORSE, PLO, Limit HLE, PLO8, NLHE (turbo ony) - 9 handed 1st & 2nd - Step 3 ticket 3rd & 4th - Step 2 ticket 5th - Step 1 ticket STEP 3 - $55.00+$7.00 - HORSE, PLO, Limit HLE, PLO8, NLHE (turbo and regular) - 9 handed 1st & 2nd - Step 4 ticket 3rd, 4th, & 5th - Step 4 ticket STEP 4 - $200.00+$15.00 - NLHE (regular) - 9 handed 1st & 2nd - Step 5 ticket 3rd - Step 4 ticket 4th & 5th - Step 3 ticket 6th - Step 2 ticket STEP 5 - $670.00+$30.00 - NLHE (regular) - 9 handed 1st & 2nd -Step 6 ticket 3rd & 4th - Step 5 ticket 5th & 6th - Step 4 ticket STEP 6 - $2000.00+$100.00 - NLHE (regular) This is the target tournament level. The size of the field and payout structure vary depending on the tournament you choose to attempt to qualify for. These include LAPT, EPT, PCA, Poker Camp, etc. In the spring of 2008 this also include WSOP packages. NOTE: At the step 4 level you can choose to attempt to qualify for the Super Tuesday ($400,000 garunteed) or the Sunday 500 ($500 garunteed) as opposed to continuing through the steps. NOTE 2: You can satellite into Step 1 or Step 2 in a 60 FPP 100 seat tournament. You can buy directly into Levels 1, 2, and 3 using FPP (1-500, 2-1,750, 3-5125). |

| I also won a Step 2 ticket a couple of days ago along with tomorrows entry...they say 48 hours or so to be manually applied to your account. I figured hmmmmm....so I just went to join a 9 player Step 2 and POOOF! My ticket was there waiting...I guess you have to check periodically if its there or not...I have not been told by PS that they issued it to me. I knew I had one coming..finished 39th. GL climbing! |

I belive that all the prizes other than the ticket for Sunday's finals are being added manually. I don't know from personal experience as I mananged to 3 times finish in the 50s and twice go out before the top 72. I do know that as onebourbon said that the official Poker Stars line is that the added prizes may take up to 48 hours to show up in your account. And, yes, you should see it under your tickets listing. At least last year when i was trying the steps for a WSOP seat (never made it past step 5) my steps tickets would be listed there. |

As someone said earlier, I think those they add manually rather than having them given automatically as you win them. |
