This is not true. It means that the person you are currently playing is logged in and playing via the PokerStars.net software. However that person may also have the PokerStars.com software installed. If so, then when they log in from the .com app, there is no star but they go back to the .net app and the star is back.
Also, it doens't matter if they registered via .net first or not, it simply indicates which software app they are using. |
