Pokerstars recent Lower buyins

Didn't already see a thread for this. But for those who havent noticed pokerstars has recently been running a lot of lower buyin guarantees in games like omaha and horse as well as running more 6 max games and mixed game tourneys.

I am really liking it so far. Its nice to have a good variety and really no gaps in good action on the mtt schedule. The guarantees are a little low but their are like nevver ever any overlays in the micros on pokerstars anyway. Anyway just a headsup on that addition. Gl at the tables

Nice, only if the omaha .10 360 player one would full up in under 4 hours...

I like some of these improvements. However, some of them are just bingo style poker. They added a bunch of super turbo tournaments where your only option is to fold or shove.

i was actually thinking of playing a few .10 360 in nlhe though. i dont think these are new. i dont play at pokerstars much. but have been following that boku87 and he crushes the micros. he can make 10k a month in games under $16.

I was kind of more talking about the mtts in the micro tourney lobby. Stuff like the 4.40 4max 1000person cap and other new tournies like that.

He puts in like siiiick volume which is what you gotta do to make10k a month like that.

Umm... and you need to be a winning player, lol and normally plays at much higher buyins (he had over $100k net earnings from SNG's prior to running the first challenge, at a $40+ avg. buyin)

Cool a 1.10 PLO game at 9:30 EST. I am in.

I am about to register for the 1.10 PLO and I noticed the disclaimer in the corner.....

"This tournament is being run on a trial basis and is not part of the regular schedule"

Just like everyone else, pokerstars is hurting because of recent economic woes. It's great value for microgrinders like me!

Also late registration on this one is 60 minutes and deep stack (3000) to start.

The late registration is frustrating, I don't know why but it always bugs me to see more people getting in half an hour after its started. I guess its to my advantage and I should accept it.

I will check these out. PS are trying all they can to stay ahead of Full Tilt!!
