I saw this in my transaction history on stars. I recieved $5 for something called a credit purchase. Do any of you know what this means? Was it a bonus? Did PokerStars just give me some money to play with?
I have a screenshot attached here: |

No, I didn't try. I don't really think it is worth the effort to go asking, imo. I got a free $5, I guess I am just asking you guys for a quick answer for how.
Well, I guess that is what happened, because I have never deposited. Will there be a catch where I have to deposit and play a certain amount of raked hands before I can withdraw anything? |

I'm not exactly sure, but Stars doesn't have anything in their rules about depositing, or raking a certain amount before you're able to withdraw like the Prima sites used to have. I don't think it's considered a bonus either, which you would have to rake in a certain period of time...so I would think you should be ok as long as you're able to multiply that $5 into their min. withdraw limit, which I believe is something like $50.

ok i like that idea with 5 dollars what you do with that you need more then you think you need BM with 5 dollars start off at 01/02 cents table and move on to the higher stakes like the NL 10 after you hit 400 dollars
