| PokerStars Homegames tourney set up Hey guys So some friends from college that I used to play poker with are seeing this homegames thing as a real advantage. It seems perfect for us since we are all over the state if not further away (P.S. it's Texas so I'm literally a 12 hour drive from some of these guys) but the thing is we have about 10-15 people that would play. Obviously not everyone can play ever game so we're looking at like 7-12 people regularly. We do like tourney ways, probably actually play small like a dollar or 5 and give the max starting stack. Just to play and chat 3-4 times a month. I was looking at the payouts for the tourney's. its winner take all, top 10,15,or 20%. these all seem like winner take all, maybe 2? maybe. Is there a way to set it closer to SNG. a 9 man sng w/ top 3 place is 33% right? we want to keep it fairly exclusive, not just any old person who wants to play so we won't have 45 people playing. I sent an email to PS but they always take two-three days to acknowledge me so I usually get my answers from here or another forum days before I get a reply. Just wondering if any of yall have heard anything or know anything about changing the payout to make them more suitable for smaller tourney's. |
