PokerStars Freerolls?
Are there any freerolls @ PS that do not require FPP's? I just joined and would like to try a freeroll, but I only see the one for 10 FPPs... I have 2 FPPs. If they're like Bodog, it takes a while to build up FPPs on the play tables(?).

There are free freerolls about every hour at PS. They feed into a saturday main event, but free is free. They vary in game. If you want only NLHE, those are about every eight hours. The next one from now is 14:47 eastern, Hubble's NL Hold'em Freeroll. There are the Play in the Bahamas w/Daniel Negreanu Freerolls twice a day. There is a Direct Poker Special that is a satellite to a January final, but 23 places get 200 FPPs so you could play the 10 FPP tournaments for the next month.

Cardschat holds weekly freerolls, on PS, and several other sites, that are free.
Fpps add up by playing in the low dollar SnGs, you gain 1 for each $1 SnG. They add up fast playong at cash games, but you need a moderate BR to accumulate many that way. |

There used to be US and Canada freerolls, but they seem to be gone now. I have been able to get into the Saturday final several times but have not placed there. As long as you have time and nothing else, it is worth a shot. The Saturday final, Weekly Round 2, pays 20%, so the chance is 20 times as good as the Full Tilt Poker daily. The Weekly Round 2 varies in game, but if you win a satellite and don't like the one this week, you can get a ticket by unregistering that is good whenever you want.
