Pokerstars FPP's

Hey guys,

I recently made a deposit on pokerstars to take advantage of their Anniversary deposit bonus. I was wondering what you guys use your FPP's for? I currently have only about 400 FPP's, which isn't much. I remember on Titan , they used to offer some pretty big tourneys for points. Does Pokerstars do this, or do I just wait and buy a book at the FPP store?

They've got plenty of FPP satellites and tickets etc. Just look under the Tourney/satellite/FPP or SnG/satellite/FPP for 'em, or check the store for bigger tickets

I'd play the sunday 2 grand tournie for 50 FPP's. the play isn't always bad, and it's much cheaper the the Sunday million sattelites which generally cost hunderds and even thousands of FPP's. Plus the FPP sattelites tend to be long shots that i don't find to be worthwhile. SO my advice is to play the Sunday 2 grand, wait for special promotions and freerolls (which they've had a lot of recently) and maybe play a couple of the cheap WSOP three round freerolls if your bored. that's what i do at least. Either that or save up for a chris moneymaker poster.

If you ever get to 17k, the 8GB iPod Nano is really nifty.

I remember before xmas i saw a 'hoody' which looked good value for the amount of fpps required.

I decided to wait until the xmas post mayhem had passed, also Isabelle Mercier poster

Why not take a shot at the 400 FPP EPT satellites? One in 10 get Stage 2 tickets, and if you unregister you would have 4000 FPP in your account to get either gear, or use for more satellite buy-ins.

Do a search on satellites here, and you'll find some good info pertaining to that.

Mercier doesn't stir my loins. I don't get it with her.

The 36-seat 375 FPP sats are complete crapshoots, winner take all. The EPT sats sound like the ticket. Win 4000 FPPs then play the 375 FPP sats several times, and your number may come up.

A little off topic but is this hard to reach. First time deposit bonus 500FPP's required to get bonus, but if i'm reading correctly I have 6 months to accomplish that, and if I use my FPP's before I reach 500 then I won't get my bonus. lol They have to make things so difficult when I deposit Y the hell don't they just give me my bonus now!!!

I didn't think it was hard to do at all. Plus, I used my FPP's for freerolls before my 500 requirement and still received my bonus.

Aloevera, to check how many FPPs you have to go to clear your bonus, click on "Cashier", then on the button that says "Check my bonus status" - you will see that the FPPs are not removed for bonus clearing purposes.

Stars anniversary bonus was a piece of cake to clear. I cleared my 1500 ffp's (150 bucks) in 2 weeks and I usually only play on the weekends, so thats only like 4 days. Some single tabling and some multitabling .50/.100 NL.
