This freeroll has a 10000 player max and its sign up is around 1300. If you blink it's filled up.

Today it filled in 35 seconds.

Oh and your clock is off by 3 or 4 minutes.

that is probably the worst freeroll on any poker site. the field is huge and only 27 will finish in the money (and only top 5 get a ticket)... complete waste of time IMO.

I agree some d00d. I've tried the daily 80 grand at least 20 times and my best finish was like 100th. Trust me, its much worse to finish 100th than 9000th! It used to be the daily 50 grand a couple months ago.

Are you kidding? About 15 PokerStars freerolls a day fill up for a chance for 99 seats to a weekly pot $2000 in prize money.

Pokerstars has the worst freerolls out there I think. Way too many idoits you need to work your way through.

You used to have like....3 mins to get your click in, since they upped it to 80G instead of 50G, its almost impossible to get in, lol. My best finish in it was 27th, just making the cut for $5.50. was soo happy, and i only went out because chip leader hit AQ against my AK and made a straight to my pair....BOOOOOO

I have hard time playing in a 10000 seat sat. tourney......to play in a 10000 seat tourney.....yeah it free but man i aint got 24 hours to play.....lol

I play this sat sometimes in the morning, but only if I have at least three other games going -- and the sat is always resized to the smallest size possible on my screen

I have played it well over 200 times. 27th once and top 5 once. This was when it was the daily 50 grand. But promptly lost in the daily 50k making it all a complete waste. Much better to devote time to sng or cash games.

10,000 register but within the first hour more than half of them are gone. They take themselves out. I do them for fun occasionally.

i played quite a few of these best i got was 7th or 6th it really hurt . I still got $5 but if i played a little differently i couldve got the big ticket

Lol i set my alarm at like 9:55 so i have time to start my computer up, get everything i need , then hopefully ill be sitting there at the time it opens.
i have missed sign up on this tourney many of times due to it filling so fast.

LOL, I honestly think it's more fun to try to get in the daily 80 than it is to play.
I have an alarm set so I don't forget. Yet I manage to miss it a bunch.
It is a challenge to try to do well in it. The first hour or so seems to be a donk fest but after that the real game begins. Although I have never cashed it, That would be a blast to blog about that win so, I will keep trying.. Good luck to all

The huge poker site freerolls aren't even any good for learning. They all play like idiots at the start at least.

You'll find the best freerolls in the forums...and there are a lot of them. You'll be playing against a better player in a smaller field and may learn something

The PS $80,000 freeroll is truly a wink and you missed it. Even worse I get all set up and ready a 1/2 hour before and wander away and then realize it's 1314.

Has anyone won anything in the $80,000 tournament itself?

I have never been able to register for these in time. Probably a good thing though as even if I won, a significant chunk of my day would be gone.

I have played quite a few of these PS freerolls....they take sooooo long and the players are sooooo slow!!! I agree with rrexpress - far too many idiots to work your way through.......

My experience has been...you have less than one minute from the time the freeroll opens, to the time it is filled up........

I got in today, but left my computer to go get food and for some reason it booted me from the tourney... I left PS open and everything. Does anyone know what happened?

your right about blinking and missing it. i registered and had to wait for confirmation, it came back tournament already full.
this was all within seconds and i registered right when it opened.

Well I gave it a bash. watched their time in the tourney lobby and had my mouse ready and aimed when it said 1 min to registration and I got in. Within the first 20 min 5000 of the 10 000 players were gone....and then 10 min later so was I with my AK soooooooted! But it was a circus and all ins almost every hand...
