As from January 1, 2010, players will need to reach 250 VPPs in order to qualify to be paid CPA. Due to changes to our VIP program we expect to see an increase in player activity and thus an increased likelihood of players reaching 250 VPPs. If you are bringing in quality players, then this should not affect you. This change will apply to all players that you have signed up in the past who have not yet been paid for; not just those who sign up from January 1, 2010. The payout levels will remain the same. Stellar Rewards Along with the changes to our VIP Program, from January 1, 2010 PokerStars will be introducing Stellar Rewards. The rewards are a series of 19 cash incentives that are gained by earning VPPs over the calendar year. There are three different cash amounts: • $10 – available at (750, 1.5k, 2.25k, 3k, 4k & 5k Yearly VPPs) • $50 – available at (10k, 15k, 20k, 25k, 30k, 35k, 40k & 45k Yearly VPPs) • $100 – available at (50k, 60k, 70k, 80k & 90k Yearly VPPs) A player that reaches 90k Yearly VPPs in 2010 will earn the maximum of $1,000. |

All in all i think most of the changes are good, its makes going nova alot easier for the lower stake cash game players and makes it alot easier for MTT/STT players to get fpps. |

| I've held silverstar status most of the year and have come very close on a few occassions to hitting gold star. (I lost my silver for just a couple of months for not playing often that month due to other obligations). Anyways, I'm looking forward to these changes and hopeful that I'll finally hit goldstar! |

| Well -it turns out they have actually decreased the VPP's you earn for the game I play - $5.50 sng's. I currently earn 3 VPP's for each one - effective Jan I will only earn 2.75. It is still a better deal - I had to play 416 sng's to earn silverstar status this year and next year I will only have to play 272 which is very reasonable. |
