| Gambling laws are determined by the country in which the events are held. In the Bahamas, legal age for gambling is 18, therefore, the PCA is open to players under 21 years of age from any country. I believe it was a similar rule in the Latin Poker Tour also. The "age of majority" refers to when you are considered an adult for such things as voting, criminal prosecution, etc... it has nothing to do with gambling and being 21. Also, I've been in some Indian casinos here in the states where the gambling age is 18. Remember, Indian Reservations are soverign countries actually. It is only U.S. Federal and State regulation that makes it 21 to gamble in places like Las Vegas. |
